Chicken Hut Halal — Restaurant in Dravosburg

This was my first time ordering here. Placed a delivery order online and from that time at 2:45pm I did not get my food until about a little after 5pm. After waiting a bit after the expected delivery time of 3:35pm I called to see what was going on and was told they do not deliver, they did end up delivering but it was after I asked for a refund (90+ dollars was spent for food for everyone)... The first order of 6 piece wings came with only 5 wings and fries. The second order of 10 wings did not come with fries like it was supposed to. The wings themselves had a bit of a weird after taste as well as the fish sandwich. I asked for no wing dust as I prefer wings old school bar style. They did listen but the wings needed to be seasoned with seasoning salt. Ordered a hamburger and the meat was over cooked and the cheese was hard so I just removed it, the lettuce was not exactly fresh and the onions was not cut normally as you would see on a hamburger. I ordered coleslaw, they said there was none so I opted for a different side. Ordered beef pattys and that as well was not there so I opted for chicken tenders.Ordered two whiting fish sandwiches and both had really small fish on them and the fish was dry. I asked for four kinds of their sauces and only received two of them. The fries were okay. And the gyro I cannot speak on at this time writing this review because it was not eaten yet. The people I spoke to over the phone was very nice and even texted me to keep me updated on the order and delivery. But the food quality overall is not good. I may order again on a different day in the future just to see if it was just a one time thing but I am not sure yet. I do hope they remove the delivery option from their website if they in fact DO...

Stopped by Chicken Hut in Dravosburg for a quick bite before a big meeting, thinking I could casually conquer a sandwich and stroll into professionalism like a boss. But oh no, Chicken Hut had other plans for me.

The moment I picked up my order, I knew I wasn't holding a sandwich. I was cradling a culinary colossus. The bag alone had the density of a small planet. By the time I parked at my meeting spot and unwrapped this behemoth, I realized I had underestimated it on an embarrassing scale.

First off, shoutout to hole-in-the-wall joints that tick the "clean and friendly" boxes—Chicken Hut nailed it. But back to the sandwich: this thing was a glorious mess of deliciousness, the sort of meal that requires protective gear. I took one bite and immediately knew it was over for me. There was a very real possibility that I'd need a power washer to clean up afterwards, let alone q-tips for my ears. I mean, can you even call it a good sandwich if you’re not risking total annihilation of your clothing?

I wrapped it back up like it was radioactive (in the best way possible) and decided to save the delicious chaos for the comfort of my home. Pro tip: do not attempt to eat this in a scenario requiring dignity. It's purely for those who embrace the joy of messy meals.

In summary: 10/10 for flavor, 0/10 for keeping your shirt clean, and 1000/10 for giving me a new favorite Dravosburg pitstop. I’ll be back for round two, armed with a bib and some industrial cleaning supplies. Oh, and I’m definitely grabbing those tenders...

First time here ABSOLUTELY disappointed!! The wings tasted like they been cooked in old grease. They were super chewy I mean like so chewy, almost not even cooked. I didn't even eat my food. It was so soggy even the fries were soggy and I only live down the street.... I paid $20 plus tip and I didn't even eat my food. Guess I'll take my loss... absolutely disgusting. Save your money go else where

Update: I want to thank the owner for reaching out to me to fix the issue without me having to actually contact him or his business. Unfortunately I was away on a trip and couldn't reply back or get my order replaced however I do appreciate him taking the time out to apologize and try to make things right and for that it deserves 5 stars for customer service. Maybe I got a bad batch? Idk but most businesses do not care if something goes wrong and he did. Thank you! I did not attempt to reach back out since we are already in November lol but I do appreciate the owner for trying! I'll give chicken hut another...
