Awful experience. We came on open mic night Thursday, which was our first mistake. The guitar and singing was so loud, we had to literally yell at each other while sitting a table width apart. Our server was the best part of the entire experience; she was sweet, kind and understanding when we complained to her about our food. I ordered a WELL DONE mushroom Swiss burger with a side of onion rings and coleslaw. When the coleslaw came out it was room temperature and tasted like it was spoiled. Then after waiting THIRTY MINUTES, our food came out. The burger was rare, and no where close to being well done. Went there 2 yrs ago.My Husband ordered Burger n Fries and I ordered the Friday Fish n Chips. We waited almost 1/2 hr for food. When we finaly got food, it was only the Burger. Waitress didn't tell me they were out of fish until My Husband was 1/2 way through his meal. I didn't even eat there! We left and I went to McD's. Having worked in Food Service, I can understand a "BAD DAY". So giving it another try, We ordered a Carryout Pizza. Once again, we were Very Disappointed. 1 lg round and 1 large "DEEP DISH" $26.02!! The Owner Matt is the best! He makes sure you are always taken care of! The food is one of the best dive bar foods you will Ever find! Literally they have HUGE burgers(1/2lbs) pizza to just die for, some of the best live music...I can go on and on about this place! Thank you Dryden Bar! The servers are not just awesome to talk to bit will ALWAYS make you feel like you live in this little town.
