My husband goes here ususally a lot. He has been a big returning customer. But we will not be back anymore. He ordered a sweet and sour chicken meal. He drove home about 20 minutes home to discover they didn’t include the sweet and sour sauce. He called in and told them and all they offered was a free soda next time. He just asked for a refund, and they said to bring the food in. He just came from town, he said he would bring it in Friday the next day he had off, as we have somewhere else to go this evening soon. They would not refund him, so he is driving back into town pushing our schuedle behind with our kids. He isn’t going to eat the meal, the whole point was the sweet and sour. 120 minutes of driving when they could have just refunded him for their mistake. I know business's show a lot about themselves how they treat people for their mistake. Read moreHas always been pretty good, for a local Chinese takeout place. The last several times, however, the woman answering the phone has been rude to the point of frustration. At first I thought it was just miscommunication or a difference in norms, rather than outright passive aggression... But I have come to the conclusion that this isn't the full explanation. This isn't usually enough to drive me away from good food, but I've almost come to dread the ordering process now.
Also, food has become hit or miss. Still good at times, but other times shockingly... Different. I always valued the consistency of this place in the past, but it's no longer reliable in that respect.
Don't expect your food to taste the same twice, and CERTAINLY don't expect to have a pleasant interaction with the person on the other end of the phone. If there was another option, I'd take it just to avoid that. Suggestion to the owner: maybe implement online ordering. Everyone...

In the Seafood Delight there was 4 small shrimp and 2 small pieces of imitation crab the rest was mostly broccoli, the Cashew Chicken had tiny crumbs of chicken and tasted burnt, basically NONE of the entrees had any really meat! To go thru each meal would take too long but to say the least it was not good and definitely not worth the cost!! I called and nicely explained that we're unhappy and wondered if they would work with me to fix this. ( I believe everyone can have an off day maybe they didn't get their protein delivery this week?)
