Taco Inc.'s Texas Fajitas: A Sizzling Fiesta for Your Taste Buds!
From the moment the steaming platter hit our table, it was clear we were in for a treat. Taco Inc.'s Texas Fajitas arrived with a dramatic sizzle and an aroma that instantly made our mouths water. This Tex-Mex masterpiece features a trio of perfectly grilled proteins - succulent shrimp, tender beef, and juicy chicken. Each meat was seasoned to perfection, boasting a delightful char that added depth to every bite. The shrimp were plump and sweet, the beef was rich and flavorful, and the chicken was moist with a subtle smoky taste. Accompanied by warm flour tortillas, crisp bell peppers, and caramelized onions, these fajitas offer a customizable feast. The guacamole was creamy and fresh, providing a cool contrast to the hot meats. A dollop of sour cream and house-made Pico de Gallo completed this flavor explosion. What truly elevated our dining experience was our server, Nova. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, Nova's excellent service complemented the outstanding food. They offered helpful suggestions and ensured our drinks were always full, adding a personal touch to our meal. Taco Inc.'s Texas Fajitas are more than just a dish - they're an experience. The combination of high-quality ingredients, expert preparation, and Nova's top-notch service makes this a must-try for any fajita enthusiast. Read moreTo start, the atmosphere was off. It took a minute to be seated but they seemed busy so no big deal. We were eventually seated and the waitress made her way over with some chips. The chips tasted like store brand chips with no salt and too much oil. The salsa tasted like seasoned tomato sauce with a few pieces of onion and cilantro. The virgin frozen strawberry margarita was poorly blended with a ton of ice chips, had a tapwater after taste, and was just not good. The mango margarita tasted like store bought mix. Three baskets of awful chips and salsa and an hour later, our food finally started to arrive. I ordered the taco salad which had a very hot plate but the food was luke warm. I will say the salad portion tasted good except the fried Tortilla was not good, like the chips, it tasted store bought. My husband ordered the steak con camarones. It arrived hot, the shrimp was flavorful although it was poorly shelled, and the steak was so overcooked he could have gotten a more tender cut of beef from a shoe cobbler. The side of rice had good flavor but a strange texture and the mixed vegetables was... strange. I would never expect a bed of shredded iceberg lettuce, radishes, cucumbers, and poorly pickled onion from a mexican restaurant. Lastly, the special nachos with beef were as soggy as cooked spaghetti, lacking any and all cheese, and stomach upsetting. My daughter asked for jalapeños and they added Maybe 5 slices. It had no flavor until she added (requested) cheese and salsa. I can't believe they have several location. Anyone who says this is authentic has to be joking or has only ever eaten at Taco Bell. Speaking of which, I would rather save my money and eat...
Read moreMy wife and I were highly anticipating another Mexican restaurant option in Dubois, however there was so much left to be desired here. From the moment we walked in it was very unwelcoming, from the lack of an entrance/lobby, to being ignored completely by staff. The flow of foot traffic in and out was confusing and awkward as people were leaving and guests were building up in front of the doors, there was no real order or clear directions to be seen to be seated and out of the way. Everyone was just clogging up the main floor between the dining area, bar, cash register, and servers making their way to and from the kitchen/dining area. We ended up waiting no fewer than ten minutes to be seated along with at least two other couples while the dining area was only partially occupied. The service was slow, unwelcoming and rather unhelpful. After we placed our order for just two of us tacos and fajitas we were stuck waiting for much longer than expected. Tortilla chips and queso were brought out eventually and really wasn’t all that appetizing. When the actual food arrived it was even worse my wife’s dinner choice, tacos, were bland while my fajitas were so burnt I could not tell the difference, looks or taste, between the steak, chicken, onions, or peppers. I would not recommend this new and disappointing restaurant but to each their own, don’t believe me try for yourself but you’ve been warned.
The one PRO is the artwork, we rather enjoyed most of the beautiful paintings hung on the wall, which is why the atmosphere...
