Casey's — Restaurant in Dubuque

I went to order a pizza for pickup online from this location at about 7 pm on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 and before I completed the order, I noticed that the online ordering app said that it was going to be approximately an 80 minute wait. I decided to drive to this location to check to see if they were really swamped with their pizza making or if the online app "80 minute" thing was incorrect. When I arrived (this location is only 3 miles from my house), I noted that this Casey's was not busy, in fact, there was no one working in the kitchen & no pizza making going on (and there appeared to be none in the oven). I asked the very young man (he looked about 16! ) that was working at the checkout if anyone was making pizzas. He at first said that he did not know where the workers were. Then he said that they may be outside. I followed him outside the door to the side of the building and there were 2 workers (young, small, dark haired man and young, dark haired woman) sitting way towards the backside of the building smoking cigarettes. I explained to them that I was wanting to order a pizza and that the online app said that there would be an approximate 80 minute wait. I asked them if this was correct and the young man bluntly said "Yes, I have not had a break since 3 pm!" I then said "Really, 80 minutes?" and his response was a loud "YES!". I just walked away saying "Wow!". I then placed my online order with the Casey's on Cedar Cross road for pickup. When I arrived I was shocked to see that my pizza was ready! I told the male worker there about my experience at the Key West Casey's & he was very shocked & even gave me a coupon for a free pizza. I will not be ordering pizza from the Key West Dubuque Iowa location ever again. PS I even looked at the Key West location's online ordering app 45 minutes later & it still was showing that "80 minute" wait! I suspect the pizza worker was manipulating the time setting on the app so that he did not have to...

Horrible. Just horrible. This was our one stop on a 7+ hour trek. We needed gas, food, and restrooms. This is sa small store, just one restroom (it was okay, no paper towel just the blow dryers). They had advertised $.89 medium sodas and ice drinks! Well, icee drink machine was broken :( and half of the 8 soda options were out of order! The medium cup I grabbed, was actually a small? So I was charged more? When I asked she said we needed to use the foam cups not plastic (which the lids were a pain to get on and I was spilling soda). We go to look and those cups were gone!-no wonder?! And no food either :( oh, and I have an app that gives me $4 money back for $25 purchase (a special ) spent at a Casey's anxmd all I needed to do was take a picture of my receipt and we'll, at the pump it made a sound and no receipt! Go figure at this point :( I will say the staff lady...

We ordered 3 breakfast pizzas. I looked at the top one. Looked good. Got home opened the other 2 and they were burnt and to cover the burnt pizzas they put more mozzarella cheese on top. Called the store. They told me they would remake the pizzas but we would have to wait almost 2 hrs for new ones. Next time I WILL look at ALL OF THEM. Have ordered from this location many times and have never had this happen. Then worker on the phone hung up on me because I felt that my burnt pizzas that I already paid for should have taken presidence over new orders. Even if they would have told me when I got there what happened and that they had to make new ones I would not have had a problem waiting. But to put extr mozzarella on them to cover it is not...
