these 5 star reviews must be from the people working there. whatever you do, eat the ice cream there and outside, and not in your car, so you can leave the mess on their doorstep instead of in your car. this location is still using the same soft serve machines since 1982. they are probably 20 degrees warmer than they should be operating at. been here once a year for a few years in a row and the blizzards and ice cream are served as a puddle of milk no matter what you get. there is nowhere to rinse yourself off, not even a napkin dispenser - they allocate you your one napkin. they have a disclaimer sign saying they don't participate in the upside down blizzard deal - because it would just pour out onto the sidewalk! This is the best Dairy Queen to get your treats. It is original setting. Meaning you walk up to the window with very courteous people helping you in case you are unsure of what want, they know their products and very friendly. They get your order right the first time or make it right with no attitude. I will say the staff is kind and friendly, and the dairy queen treats are good when done correctly. The past couple times I've gone the oreo blizzard was basically straight vanilla icecream and the dipping on my cone was so thin you could see the icecream under it, but all in all the treats always taste good. But NEVER EVER buy the food, waaaaaay overpriced and tatste like it's from the frozen food aisle. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere...
