McDonald's — Restaurant in Dubuque

Took my kiddos there today to play in the Playplace. I tried to order their food for a good ten minutes and the employee couldn't get my order right. I told her to forget I'd place a mobile order and as I'm walking into the Playplace, the not so friendly manager, yelled at me why people were in there. I looked around dumbfounded, as I didn't see any reason why we shouldn't be in there. She came over and rudley told me that it was just sanitized and no one should be in there. As I'm gathering my kids to leave another employee came in and just as rude as her mangager told me that it was just sanitized and they shouldn't be in here. I said again there should have been a sign up to let people know this and that I was upset my children were crawling all around these chemicals. With attitude she told me that it wasn't like it was going to hurt them and that we needed to leave. We were about to leave and a manager came in and with a raised and irritated voice, told me lthat a sign wasn't put up because she didn't know the company that was cleaning it had left. We and some other families had already been in there for a good half an hour. I told her that a sign should have been put up during cleaning process to let people know not to go there. She just went on with her nasty attitude and we gladly. The only reason we ever go in there is to play in the Playplace,but not even that can keep us coming back. The workers are dirty and rude. Not worth it. Wish I could leave less...

This McDonald's is understaffed even though the staff is super nice. The place was super busy. The drive through had a line and inside there were at least 9 parties in front of me. It is the the longest wait I have ever had in any McDonald's. There were nothing but issues with ever order. There was a lady whose order just disappeared from their system. All the orders on the screen showed all the orders being served when they had not even started them. They were out of chocolate milk for my son's Happy Meal. When a McDonald's runs out of something it is evident there are underlying issues there.

Also, I ordered a double quarter pounder which from my understanding McDonald's makes fresh. Well, the patties were dry and just about burnt. There were also some black pieces of something on my patties and in the box.

Lastly, the Play Place is decent and there is a big area for seating but would not recommend stopping hear because you will stay way longer than you want...

I felt bad for the poor guy up front he was doing his job, took our order, was very nice. but everyone in back was goofing off. cussing loud enough that we can hear them in the play place. there are kids around, you shouldn't be acting like a bunch of drunk teenagers. it took us 20 minutes to get one Burger and 20 piece nugget if it wasn't for the fact that we had already paid I would have left. then my wife went to the bathroom while we were waiting and had one of the employees walk out of the bathroom after going number 2, and didn't even wash their hands!!! when she confronted them they said "we don't wash your hands back here, we wash our hands up front". that's just gross! if anything wash your hands at both places. that's nasty! and it's not like they were short-staffed or anything. they just weren't working. lazy and there were only three other...
