If I could give zero stars I would. Went to taco johns for dinner tonight because that is what my grandson wanted. Haven't been there for over a year. Now I remember why. First pulled up to the drive thru. We ordered a number 5 so she asked if we wanted another burrito for $1. Perfect!! That's what we wanted. My grandson said he wanted a #7 but when i noticed what that was i knew that is not what he actually wanted. So i had to call him on the phone, he decided on a #10, all of the while she kept asking us if we wanted anything else. We kept telling her to hold on. My husband finally asked her why she was rushing us as to which another employee came over the speaker. The second girl was nice when we asked her to hold on. We put in our order and pulled ahead. Everything went perfect from there on out. Asked for mild sauce and everything. We even asked for an empty bag so we could split the order. On the way to my grandsons to drop his food off which is less than a mile from taco johns I noticed we didn't get the second cheese sauce. I looked at the receipt and noticed we did pay for it. There was no mild in the bag either. Upon looking at the receipt I notice that we were over charged. I went in to ask for an explanation as to what we were charged for and she made sense but didn't want to listen to me on how I was over charged. She charged me $5.99 x's 2 for the burritos but then charged me an EZ Combo which includes another burrito. At the bottom i see it took off $4.99 which left me paying $1 for the second burrito. However the first burrito of $5.99 is also in the combo meal and that's what i was trying to explain to her. If she would have listened to me she could have said no it's not in the EZ Combo and that only includes the poato oles and drink for $9.27. She wouldn't even listen. Told me she already explained it. She told me she works there and knows what she is doing. I told her I know she works there as she is the one on the other side of the counter. I still tried to explain to her and she told me she's not going to argue with me. I told her, Payton, I'm not arguing I'm trying to explain. She said if I didn't like it don't come back. I said I haven't been there for the past year. She told me she could call her manager to have her tell me. I said no thanks and she's the reason I haven't been there for the past year. Her whole tone changed after that. By now the first girl who started to say stuff to me too which i ignored. She started yelling at me and told me to get the f* out of her store and never come back. I told her she needed to go back to school so she could learn how to do math. Again she told me to get the h* out. I asked her if I could at least have my cheese sauce that I paid for. I'm writing this in hopes that the manager Eric sees this and watches the cameras because i know not only can you see everything you can hear. Then he can see how his employees treat customers and how half of the employees quit. The store manager got demoted for some reason that we can all speculate for and then lies to everyone saying she stepped down. I understand there was only 2 people working during the dinner rush but not my fault. How she spoke to me was uncalled for. I do have to say that since Eric now has cameras by the dumpster area where the employees smoked it no longer smells like they are cooking skunks instead...
Read more2023 may - left with mixed feelings. normally this place is on point but today wasn't exactly. Unfamiliar faces in the kitchen. The woman running drive through rushed my order and I ended up having to ask for a beverage at the window. All I ordered was a burrito and a taco but they told me to pull ahead and wait for my order at the entrance. I was the only drive through order and there was only one customer inside that already had their food. After 10 minutes, I saw an employee leaving with a bag of their own food presumably clocking out for the day....... so I went inside and asked them if there's a problem with making the food. They already had the food bagged up and handed it to me explaining that somebody made an online order. I asked them, you made me wait 10 minutes here at the drive-thru for one taco and one burrito because of an online order for somebody who isn't here? She said have a nice day and just walked away.
2020 Normally I would have an excellent review for this place. It's the only place that hasn't ever messed up my order I don't think. The food is always on point. Always tastes great. But the last time I went there, I ordered a certain kind of burrito and the lady on the drive-thru speaker asked me if I wanted the meal. I said no, just the burrito. She asked me again if I wanted the meal and I repeated again that I just wanted the burrito. When I pulled up to the window she asked me if I was okay and proceeded further to ask me if I was on drugs. I was like no????? She gave me a look of disgust and gave me my food. Read moreSo I don’t eat out much cause we can’t afford to really... so when I go I like it to be right... but anyways I went there and they forgot my nacho cheese witch is not a big deal.. and the tacos just don’t seem as filled as the other taco Johns I have been to... but then I call back to let them know I paid for cheese and did not get it and my younger kids/siblings at home go to each and now they won’t cause they want there nacho cheese so there all crying I’m stressed and all the guy can say is come back get your cheese or your doaller.. or I’ll give u credit for your cheese... And he just being a A-hole about it... all I want is maybe next time I come in I get my meal for free or half off whatever works for us both cause not no1 will eat there food that they were looking forward to... but I called corporate office and they were really nice and understanding why I was upset.. so I how there franchisees calls me like he is sapose to in 24 hours and they get some training done there.. trust me ik it’s just cheese but I should get what I payed for!!! And he would not give me the corporate number it is the day time manger here... hopes he learns that you don’t have customers cause of the way he acts the franchises will loss his place and I don’t want that so I hope he calls me in 24 hours..!!
