Wendy's — Restaurant in Dubuque

I went there with two other people through drive through. I ordered the bacon jalapeno crispy chicken, bacon jalapeno cheddar fries and a lemonade which makes this a pricey meal for fast food. They skipped out on the onion tanglers and the cheddar cheese sauce that belong on the premium sandwich. Normally I would have been long gone and wouldn't have bothered going back there however I was waiting on my drink that they also forgot about so while I am waiting I check my sandwich out and inform them that it was missing key toppings for their premium sandwich. They apologized and wanted to make it right. . However I hadn't checked out the fries yet. The bacon jalapeno cheddar fries were over loaded with jalapenos no I did not ask for extra. The bacon on it was way over cooked and they were like burnt bacon bits over it. I felt like they put scraps they get off the grill from cleaning it off. The second chance sandwhich had the onion tanglers but was missing the two pieces of American cheese and the cheddar cheese sauce The manager apologized and took responsibility for my order and gave me a free sandwich but nothing for my fries. I usually would be grateful for any type of free food but I felt like the food was sabotaged and would not recommend eating there for...

This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Wendy's. First off, you order your food, then you get your food, you review your food and you notice it has no veggies? You bring this to the attention of the worker and ask, "where's the veggies?".. and they respond...we don't have any tomatoes and haven't had any in over 3 months? 🤔 Instead of them telling you this BEFORE you place an order, they WAIT until YOU place your order and YOU find the problem with your order instead of stating the obvious beforehand. No disrespect intended, but you do NOT need a G.E.D. to figure this out? Whoever this MGR or GM is at this location needs to be FIRED...IMMEDIATELY!!! As well as the tattooed/pierced girl that works here. How in America does a National franchise NOT have veggies? Not meat, not bread...but something as simple as tomatos? We were shorted a double cheeseburger in the drive through line but didn’t discover it until we were home about ten miles away. I called, and the person I talked to asked if we wanted to come back and get it or if we would prefer a coupon for a free meal. We opted for the coupon (who wants to drive 10 miles out of their way to pick up a cheeseburger?). He asked for my address and said that he would send it. The coupon never arrived, so I called a second time to report. The manager said she would send it out right then, taking my address once more. A week later, still no coupon. I’m trying to decide if I want to call again and be a nagging nuisance until I get the coupon or let it go with this poor review. Either way, we will not visit this Wendy’s again.
