This isn't something I usually do. However, I owe it to my partner to share the bad experience she and I received. First and foremost, the service was not helpful as the workers kept taking their time, talking to each other, not really caring that my order that was promised at 8:05PM and I had waited almost 20 minutes longer than necessary. I understand if there is staff issues or it is busy. But neither of those applied to this situation. We ordered online, thinking it would be faster. We get there early just in case. Nonetheless, it still took forever, even though there were only 3 or 4 customers more than us. Additionally, my partner got her food on time. I will admit that. HOWEVER, she ordered a wrap. And they did it incorrectly and gave her a bowl. Not only that, but something as simple as her salad dressing was incorrect. The one thing that is easy to grab and put with the salad, and they got that wrong for both of her items. She was so excited to try this new Crisp and Green place, but it disappointed her so bad, she is saddened by it. We could have forgiven the extra time waited. We could have forgiven the wrap incorrectly being a bowl. But when the dressing is incorrect after waiting all that time, I have to say something. If I ever come back, I WILL NOT use the app or order online. I hope going in person helps in the slightest and will help the workers have more urgency.
UPDATE: The Crisp & Green team reached out to me after in order to reconcile the situation. We got a full refund for my order as well as my partners order because of this. Read moreI was so excited when they opened here and have gone MANY times already! Usually the experience is great! Quick lines, friendly staff, thorough, just wonderful! Today was a different experience and that’s unfortunate. The staff was not engaged or informative. The romaine ran out while she was filling my salad, she didn’t move her body but just glanced around (I assume to see if more was ready to be brought in) but then just filled it with other lettuce and didn’t say anything. My partner asked for the romaine for his wrap, and at that time she said there was none. Ok, fine, but could you let us know that? Or look in the fridge? But not a huge deal. Then, when she was filling my salad toppings she just put some of the toppings on and pushed that salad along to the dressing. I asked where the bacon was for the chicken bacon ranch salad and she said “oh, we’re out of that”. Then walked away. What? Why wouldnt you tell me that when I ordered that salad? That’s a pretty big ingredient to be missing. And when the dressing was put on the salad there was zero interaction, no asking for dressing preference, and didn’t offer any croutons or additional toppings. There was no conversation. He just rang up our food and walked away. We didn’t get to order the frescos we wanted because he was gone before we realized that he had rung us up! Read moreVery bad experience here. I ordered a wrap for pick-up but they somehow ran out of wraps. Not sure how they ran out of one of the main items on their menu. They didn't inform me until I arrived in the store, so I had to wait around and order a new item once I arrived. They told me they refunded the wrap, but I was charged the full amount on my credit card. I have pictures and evidence to prove this. In addition, the Fiesta Bowl which I ordered for myself was the worst Fiesta Bowl I've ever had. There was hardly any rice in it, and all the ingredients were cold.
To make matters worse, I emailed hello@crispandgreen.com over 1 week ago. I did receive one reply last Wednesday, but the issue still has not been resolved and I still have not received a refund for the wrap. It's clear to me at this point that resolving this issue and refunding the amount I overpaid is not a priority for them, which is very disappointing.
