As a Foodie and Food Critic, I’m gonna give you a bit of advice here. With stiff competition in the healthy “Bowl” food market in Duluth and with the prices you charge for the small amount of product you supply per customer, you need to step-up your game! Your store was dirty, especially around the warming trays. Your staff had bad hygiene, their hair was not in nets or swept up, their cuts and scabs on their arms were not covered and their customer service skills were lacking. The Manager should not be discussing name tags and/or other issues with the staff while the customer is waiting for service. There is a reason Chipotle has made it so successfully. They are a well oiled machine. I would also recommend more consistent temp, time and rotation checks on your foods. I do not like getting sick from rice or shrimp that has been in the warmer too long. There should never be the clutter of boxes of stock in the entryway. That is a fire hazard and against OSHA. You should also add a vegetarian/tofu protein option. I highly recommend you address these issues if you intend on being a successful and sustained...
Read moreI love Qdoba and have consistently had good food from the Duluth location. However, I was in the mood for something sweet so I added a brownie onto my order (delivery). Huge mistake. First of all, a dollar for a teeny tiny brownie? Fine, I’m the sucker that bought it sight unseen. But one bite and all I tasted was oil. I don’t know what recipe you’re following, Qdoba, but go pick up a box of store brand brownies and use those instead. You gotta be pretty terrible to make a chocolate anything I won’t eat. It’s a crime to charge money for that.
Update 11/25/2020 I feel I have to update my post after I was contacted by Qdoba following this review. They told me to email them so I did. They made it right by crediting my Qdoba account. I think that’s pretty cool. It was just a brownie! I wasn’t going to free food, I just didn’t want anyone else to eat them. Haha. Anyway, awesome customer service. You can’t beat that. Thanks, Qdoba. And no, they didn’t ask me to change my 3 star rating to a 5 or to...
Read moreI love the food how ever incredibly frustrated with the treatment I got today. I am a delivery driver for Uber eats and walked into a busy restaurant. I waited five minutes before asking if my order was already ready to which I was told by a lady in a purple shirt worth 30 to 45 minutes behind she didn’t bother to check the orders that were already out and I proceeded to wait patiently. I watched them make 20+ orders in front of me while I waited and continue to wait while the lobby got empty only for her to finally ask again what was the name on the order and when I told her she handed me the bag that was already ready and said I called the name a couple of times I have not been in the restaurant when she had called the name she should have looked when I asked on the order instead of just yelling at me that they were behind as it was very obvious. I waited for a half hour for food that was already ready, which made me lose my tip on...
