Pumbah’s Tacos & Burgers — Restaurant in Dumas

Our niece recommended this spot as we were looking to grab a bite before driving and I'm so glad she did. It's in an unassuming spot just west of the 87/287 split. We ordered the tripas quesotacos and the diablo burger combo (though I'm not actually sure if I got the diablo or the Pumbah). Everything was fresh and full of flavor - perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, with perfect flavor and texture combos. The tacos were stuffed with tripe and cheese, grilled to perfection. The burger had a patty topped with two kinds of cheese, ham, hot dog, bacon, grilled onions, jalapeno, avocado, ketchup, and mustard. It wasn't spicy but was plenty hearty so that's why I think the order may have been off. No complaints tho! (And it was windy so hard to hear). There was so much food but it was hard to put anything down. The fries had a nice seasoning pre-fried that gave a good crunch. One of the best burgers I've ever had. I highly recommend...

This place is mediocre at best. The consomé was really greasy, felt I was drowning in oil. The birria tacos, although they were tasty, the did not hit the mark for me as they were made with pork. The crane asada burrito was not appetizing. I could have easily made it at home. I took so much oil out of the consomé before I could attempt to taste it. It had the right flavors, it was acidic, briny, however; the amount of oil in it was nauseating. Overall, I would not go to this place again, nothing about it stood out. It was just plain mediocre food truck food. Not memorable at all.

One of the best food truck Mexican we’ve had. We sampled the chorizo tacos, chicken tacos, birria tacos and the cheeseburger. All were fantastic. In fact the cheeseburger beat Five Guys / Shake Shack / Any “Gourmet” burger shop you can think of and was a much larger burger to boot. In fact my daughter couldn’t finish so I got a midnight burger snack (and even reheated it was better than most restaurant), but the highlight was the tacos. All fantastic highly...
