Ed's Diner — Restaurant in Dunbar Township

Ed's Diner is set back off the road, just far enough that you won't see it unless you know it's there. That's why I'm glad I searched for restaurants in the area, as we wanted a good breakfast before heading to Fallingwater and Ohiopyle. When we saw the parking lot, we knew Ed's was a good choice, because there were plenty of cars before we arrived. Although we appeared to be the only non-regulars there, we were treated like family. We had omelets, bacon and sausage. The omelets were big and filled like they should be. The bacon was the good kind, not too thick, and the sausage was fine. Had we eaten the same breakfast at our hotel, the cost would easily have gone over $40. At Ed's, we paid $26 plus a generous tip to our excellent hosts. Myself and another Marine Veteran were staying at melody motor lodge in from if diner. Hi in for occasional coffee and dinner good. Waitress seemed cool at first but found them to be bitchin all other time s bet owner watching on cameras all the time. Then mum buddy heard them mumbling under their breath cause we came in everyday for like a week and had them bring up bc being creepy, cause we started up lil appropriate conversation.. good of them you can tell hate they're job and not to friendly. Will not out my buddy will not be visiting this diner again. This place has, large menu to choose from. But u wonder, that the health inspector. Has found any health code laws that are broke at this restaurant. Kitchen cooks, taking garbage to bin outside. Using the same gloves, to make food.

This restaurant should, in my opinion, be checked by fayttee health officers.

Kitchen needs to have more attention. The owners, should have there employees, dress better. Currently the kitchen help, needs to clean there act up. Your dirty and need to dress better.
