La Alcancia — Restaurant in Dundee Township

Good place and great food. Steak tacos are pretty good. Quesidillas are pretty good and steak burritos are good too. However my only complaint as far as the steak burritos is sometimes when I do come here, the steak in the burrito gets pretty greasy and it make it uneatable. it tastes pretty good still but it's something I would like to see improve. Another issue is the people that work here dont speak English that well. If you speak English and dont speak Spanish. You might be out of luck. And one more is the parking lot in this place. Parking here is terrible. Trying to find a spot can be difficult. Its so small that someone might get into a accident. So i would like to see some improvements here. But Either than that, still a good place to eat. I work down the street from this place. But I don't think I'll be...

I was the only white person in this building. I could see the guys behind the counter looking at me thinking "oh no a gringo". This is the sign of a good Mexican restaurant. They immediately sent a younger Mexican guy who spoke perfect English to come take my order.

They have some of the best tacos I've had. The Pastor tacos were fantastic. It probably took them 2 minutes to make my order and for 3 tacos, and a Jarritos it was 13$ ($15 with a tip) This place is a hidden gem. I will definitely be coming back here.

White people everywhere, stop going to chipotle. Stop going to Taco Bell. Stop supporting big corporations and give you hard earned dollars to this fine establishment....

Mmmm... Okay... so I'm just sitting here raving about my fave lunch spot here in C'ville. THE BEST tacos (please know this is NOT an exaggeration) and the BEST arroz que te vas a encontrar (that you're going to find) (wait... did my mouth just start watering thinking about their rice?... 🤣 yes... yes... it just did 😋🤭) and all of it at very accesible prices! I just don't know how they do it. I love me this little corner of my Mexico 🇲🇽. God bless them for serving us all so well, and serving us the most legit Mexican food there is!
