Looking for a delicious acaí bowl & smoothie shop?? Look no further! Anissa'a spot offers a wide variety of fresh & healthy smoothies that are sure to satisfy your cravings. I particularly enjoy the peanut butter & banana, which is my favorite! Atmosphere is chill and relaxing! What really made the experience special was meeting the owner. She was incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with me about the ingredients and the process she follows to make her smoothies. It was clear she's passionate about what she does and cares deeply about providing her customers with healthy and delicious drinks. Highly recommend! Black owned!

If y’all haven’t been, you NEED to go to Anissa's Spot in Durham! I went for the first time today and it was amazing! The young ladies working were welcoming and professional. The ambiance was top notch too! Bright and viabrant colors, clean and smelled amazing! They have everything from merch to coffee, açaí bowl, smoothies, and more. Build your own or pick something off their menu. Also the staff was nice enough to make recommendations! I got an açaí bowl, and it did not disappoint! I’ll definitely be joining their awards program and be going back!

This is a cute, cozy spot I'm so happy that I found. The smoothies are delicious (peanut butter banana is my go to). The bowls are filling and they give you plenty! The staff is great, they know my face, my order and make it just the way I like it. The owner is very nice and makes her presence known. The music in here is always a vibe. The environment as a whole is aesthetically pleasing. This is becoming a regular spot for me to hit up. A bonus is that signing up and putting in your number when you order leads to free purchases in the future!

Atmosphere is chill and relaxing! What really made the experience special was meeting the owner. Got a large acai bowl to go.. from the pick up it was already watery... the person at the register was very nice and sweet, he was just about to close the lid so I could see the content. The core of my acai bowl was full of granolas. The main base wasn't acai. Instead, it was more like granola was dumped in the bowl first then the liquified acai was poured over it, then additional toppings were sprinkled on the top. Yes the ingredients were all there but this was poorly made. Like I wanted a bowl of acai mainly not granolas covered with liquid acai..! Also the amount of toppings weren't like the photos here. Seriously...

So I went to this spot referred by Firestone. Entered with my dog and was quickly advised they did not allow dogs. So I went on side of the building and hooked her to the bike rack. Went back inside which it was empty. I asked what kind of muffins they had and if they sold frappes. There were two women in there working worrying more about putting spoons in a bag and fixing the TV and they knew I had the dog outside because they could see where I tied her. I felt totally ignored and not valued as a customer. Apparently my money was not good...
