Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Durham

Got to the counter and noticed 3 out of 4 employees weren't wearing masks (and the other one didn't have it quite over her nose, but at least she was trying). Thought to myself, "OK, not coming back here." Took my sandwich and left to eat in my car, which wasn't the plan, but I wasn't about to eat in. I see a cop go in, and out of morbid curiosity, I decide to peek back in to see if they put them on then. Nope. I step away from the building to have a cigarette before heading back to work, and a guy comes out and asks if anything's wrong. I said, "Kind of. Just wanted to see if you put your masks on when the cop came in." He said, "No, we didn't do that." I say, "Yeah, you don't care at all. Good to know." He starts talking about how they didn't do anything wrong, that it's "just a mandate," and how do I know they don't have health problems. Identifying himself as the owner, he volunteers his own problems, and all I'll say is that I'm not convinced. I tell him my ex has asthma and manages to wear a mask, that 1 million people were diagnosed with Covid yesterday, but hey, you do you. You're wasting your time out here arguing with me. I'm just not coming back. He mutters something like, "OK, good," and goes back in.

In retrospect, I should've read the reviews beforehand, but I had time and wanted something a little better than the Sheetz I usually get next door....

I visited Jersey Mike’s on 6/18 with a mobile order for a club. When I got there it was not ready but they were about to make it no biggie. Well they made my sandwich thanked me and on my way I went. I got home took a bit and was like something is missing. Bo bacon! What??😳🤔I called the store and was told Yeap we RAN out of bacon. He then said I guess we could have put that on the site. Duh you think? But I was in the store. I said I would have gotten another sandwich 🥺. What is a club without bacon. When I put my disappointing comments on their website. How about their district manager called me within 2 days to discuss my disappointing experience at this store. She said and I quote “Let me make this right as we do not want to make you unhappy with us.” I appreciated the faith that she followed up and she was understanding my point. I am definitely returning and the next time I will not “assume or wait at the end of the counter” lol but I will ask about my bacon 🥓 🤔🤔. I am still loving Jersey Mike’s. They are the best sub...

No stars would be the more accurate assessment of this location. I hadn't been to Jersey Mike's for awhile and ordered here as part of a take out family dinner. I have an allergy to gluten and ordered a "bowl" as listed on the menu, instead of a sandwich. I hadn't had this before but went from the picture which showed a bowl filled with food. I assumed (my bad) that the sandwich filling (portobello, swiss, green pepper) as on top of something in the bowl. Nope. When I got the bowl there was quite literally less that 1/2 cup of filling in the bowl. The food was dwarfed by the empty bowl. My husband and I planned to split this. We each got about 2 tablespoons of food. No lettuce (which is what I expected) nothing at all except the meager serving of sandwich filling. This goes beyond terrible service. This is fraud. Had I been there in person I would have refused and demanded a refund. Who gives customers a practically empty bowl and pretends it is worth the $10 I...
