I haven't ordered KFC in years and I decided to give them a shot a couple weeks ago at this joint KFC/Taco Bell.
Well, I ordered a 3pc tender meal with mac and cheese in the drive-thru. When I got to the window and paid, they asked me to pull around to the front becuase they had to drop the tenders and it would be 5-7minutes. OK-- fine, no problem! Pull around, 10 minutes go by-- no tenders, no food. I go inside, ask about my food to which they, again, said they needed to drop the tenders and it would be 5-7 minutes(They also offered me taco coupons and a drink to wait-- I said no). So OK-- I will wait, again. Another 10/15 minutes go by and still nothing. I go inside AGAIN and I was told AGAIN they needed to drop the tenders. 5-7 MINUTES. Luckily, there was a manager was working the register, who called for the tenders which then appeared. The manager did apologize and gave me extra tenders for my trouble.
This was a frustrating and irritating experience overall. I was very hungry in the moment I ordered and then I became "hangry" which isn't fair to anyone involved in this situation. But if they had just done their jobs and dropped the tenders like they said they would-- this wouldn't have been such a problem! Definitely wasn't "FAST" food at all. I probably won't be giving KFC another try any time soon.
Don't bother with the Taco Bell attached to this KFC either. The entire location is...
Read moreI ordered the 5 piece hot wing meal, when I got my food everything seemed hot and fresh. I ate one of the wings and it was not spicy at all. The hot wings are the only thing I order from KFC so I know how they are supposed to taste, and they were really plain no spice at all. I took the food back to the counter and expressed my concerns. The lady at the counter said and I quote " Do you want something else or your money back." This may seem okay to some people but her attitude was very nonchalant like she just wanted me to take my food and leave. I stood there stunned for a while because I was shocked by the response, I ended up keeping my food. I went to my car and started eating the wedges which tasted a little funny but I thought maybe that was just one wedge. There were several wedges that tasted like mold, and anyone who has ever mistakenly eaten molded cheese knows the taste of mold. I didn't even bother to tell the lady at the front counter because I'm sure she would have just given me more great customer service. Yes, I'm being sarcastic with the last line. Ultimately I was very dissatisfied with my food, I didn't even finish it. Money wasted. I won't be back to the...
Read moreBackground: Modesty aside, I’ve eaten to 35 countries with KFC & of course KFC’s in various states & all the Triangle’s branches. Verdict: The worst KFC branch so far. 1st time Dec 2018: We ordered Spicy Chicken Wings— Oh my! Not spicy @ all, no FLAVOR @ all & were extremely tiny— literally the tiniest & skinniest wings you can ever imagine! Unbelievable! So vowed not to buy in this branch anymore. May 2019: 8pm— after little shopping from Marshalls. Husband urged me to just buy KFC since he was hungry & this branch is closest from where we were— big mistake! **Ordered the 3 piece & 2 piece chicken dinner box— the Asian lady who got our order forgot to ask us if we want an original or extra crispy! When we asked for ketchup— we were just given two packets!🙄🙄 Anyway, the chicken were cold, extremely greasy & pathetically tasteless! I just had one drumstick & that was it. The coleslaw was swimming with liquid. So awful! 🤮🤮 Summing up, husband & I decided WE ARE NOT going to EVER come back in this branch! And you reading this — I suggest better go somewhere else & don’t waste your money! Worst KFC branch, what a...
