Hong Kong Restaurant — Restaurant in Durham

The food is alright but the customer service could be better. The lady at the counter whenever I come in always appears to be overworked and cold... almost as if she has a negative attitude. Today, when I arrived at the counter she leaves me standing there for a while before she even acknowledges that I'm there. This occurs whenever I do order here. Then, recently, she barely gave me time to fill out my receipt before she snatched it from my hand. I am writing this review b/c my last two visits in particular were not pleasant b/c of the customer interaction or lack thereof. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli last time and they didn't add any brown sauce and I paid for white sauce and that wasn't even put in the bag. I didn't realize anything until I got all the way home. Needless to say, although the food is decent, I will not be returning here again. Jumbo China & Grill by far is a better option. Customer service is great and the food is...

Where to start. The woman at the counter is extremely rude, well, always rude. We ordered a general's chicken and chicken broccoli. Fried rice ,steam rice. To go.

Got home and opened our boxes ready to eat... we had "orange chicken that they (re- dipped in generals sauce) Old friend rice that looked as if it had been sitting out for hours. Instead of chicken broccoli we ordered.

Also, got an order of wings..That was a suprise. Called and tried to talk to the woman about a refund. She said, I can drive back, and pick up our order or, she will issue a credit.. so we gave them one more try and wanted ronuse our credit. When we tried. They said they never issue a credit....

This was one of my favorite restaurants until today, I was there to pick up dinner for tonight, my food wasn't ready so I sat down to wait. Of course I'm watching them as they prepared my food, at the same time I'm watching the male cook make wong tong soup and out of no where he spoons the soup and drinks the broth with the same spoon he was using to prepare the soup. I'm wondering to myself is he going to get a new spoon or continue to use the same one. He used the same spoon to make a call in order. I was disgusted and asked for my money back even though the soup wasn't mine, they have terrible habits that I wanted...
