My boyfriend and I went to Libby's for dinner and had absolutely terrible service. Our waitress, Jess, seemed annoyed from the minute she got to our table, to the point that I started feeling like I needed to apologize just for asking her for anything. My boyfriend's food came late (apparently it had to be remade after being dropped on the floor) and was under-cooked when it finally arrived. My waffle fries had bacon on it despite the fact that I ordered it without it, but the waitress didn't come back to check on us for me to be able to tell her. She finally returned quite some time later to drop off our check and when I told her that there had been a problem with my order she just looked at me and told me that she hadn't seen any bacon when carrying it over. When I showed her the pile of bacon I had pulled off before finally giving up on trying to eat the food, she didn't say anything, just took our credit card and left to ring us out. Read moreOne of the first weekends I purchased a LineLeap skip-the-line pass, I never ended up using it. I contacted LineLeap directly and was told the bar could call for reimbursement, and I would also be refunded.
Last night, when I asked about this, a bouncer directed me to an older man. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he chose to publicly insult me for even asking. I explained that I live with type I diabetes (a chronic illness) and that my blood sugar had dropped that night, so I chose not to go out and use the pass. His response was, word for word “that’s on you, maybe you shouldn’t be here tonight then”. He then literally ran off while I was responding. At his age, he should know better than to mock someone’s medical condition. I had waited over an hour, paid nearly $30, and still have a receipt showing I never redeemed anything. Instead of fair treatment, I was humiliated to the point of leaving in tears.
No customer deserves to be treated this way, and I’ll make sure others know exactly how this place...
Read moreThis place kinda sucks. It used to be decent but now it is dead all the time, the food sucks, service is bad and the employees are all rude. The bouncers act like they are hoping to start more trouble than to stop any. A bunch of meatheads (mostly football players) that want to show off how tough they are. I remember a while ago they all ganged up on some drunk kid that wanted to come in, a bouncer shoved him to the ground so hard they cracked his head open and gave him brain damage. (fact) It's no surprise since the owner acts like a jerk to customers as well. I think his name was James or Jay. Middle aged pudgy little guy with a loud mouth. The last couple times we got food it was mediocre at best and not very cheap either. Don't eat there anymore. The place itself has the atmosphere of a hotel lobby and the rug smells like puke.
