Pauly's Pockets — Restaurant in Durham

Today was the first time I tried pauly pockets and this was some of the best food I have eaten! I wanted to try as much as I could so I got the combo pocket with gyro and falafel, baklava, and grape leaves. The pocket was huge! $10 And it was the size of my forearm! But every bite was enjoyable and full of flavor and spices especially from the falafel. The baklava was also so crispy, nutty, and sweet but it it’s surprisingly large! Maybe I am used to the tiny pieces from the store? The grape leaves were super good and you get a good amount of them for the price! Definitely coming back here, if I had all the money in the world I would eat...

I really enjoy the 2 times I've been here, I ordered the chicken plate and the gyro plate twice as well. The older gentleman I believe may be the owner is very nice, kind and welcoming: the service overall has been overly satisfactory to us. I LOVE lentil rice and this one was very delish! The meats on both of the meals held up to be consistently delish both times. The pita bread and hummus came with the meals and that was also delish!! Paul and his younger co-worker (can't remember his name) are litterally the nicest, most attentive, authentic people you can have wait on you in NH! They ask how you are, have deep conversations while waiting on you and truely care about every customer that come through that door!
