Starbucks — Restaurant in Durham

First off, the staff are amazing and always SUPER friendly and accommodating! Nothing but great things to say there. The reason for a lower rating is because I come here several times a week and there are always 2 major pain points: 1. - the wait is always very long. Even if I order ahead to pick up in the drive-thru, I end up sitting there for at least 10 minutes if not more. If I choose to park and go inside to grab my order, I have to wait until I can flag someone down to grab my order from the drive-thru orders and sometimes that can be hard (again, the staff are doing their best but always VERY busy) the second pain-point is the inconsistency of the drinks. I get the same drink every day and it's never consistent. Some days its very strong coffee flavor, others it tastes like I am drinking pure cold foam/cream and seemingly no coffee at all. I just wish they maybe had more staff and better training to improve the consistency of the drinks. It makes me consider going to a different starbucks when I am short on time and don't want to waste $7.00 on a coffee that may or may not be...

Rude, poorly trained, and unsanitary. My wife observed a worker (Andre) full on picking his nose while making cold drinks. She suggested he wash his hands, which he did, but then he began to taunt her while she waited at the end of the counter for her drink. I saw him smirking at her and then he WINKED at her (mocking us). At this point, my wife asked to speak to the Manager; that person treated it like it was no big deal and said the worker was just being FRIENDLY?! She couldn't even apologize or offer to retrain this individual, much less reprimand him for his behavior. Drink and food in the trash, notifying corporate. I rarely visit Starbucks. But this Starbucks has recently opened up in my neighborhood and I wanted to check it out. This branch is very spacious and has various sitting arrangements. It is great for solitary and communal work sessions. The wifi was working well. The staff is warm and welcoming. Since I am not familiar with the Starbucks menu, they offered to make recommendations and made a choice for me. I was very happy with what they chose for me.
