Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Dyersburg

I have always loved the Sonic here, but for the last few months they have really went downhill. My friend and I went to get some food late (about 8pm) on a Thursday night. We ordered ahead on the app about 5 minutes before we got there. We ordered a Jr. Cheeseburger, a large chili cheese tot, large popcorn chicken, and 2 mini blasts. My buddy used to work there so he said it might take about 5-10 minutes to cook the chicken since it was so late. I said that was fine and we just sat and waited and waited and waited... Next thing you know we had been waiting 20 minutes. There were only 2 other vehicles in the lot when we got there. We noticed both of them were still there waiting as well. I pushed the button and asked if they had received the order or if I did something wrong on my end. She said" no, he's walking out with your order now." I was like, ok cool. Thinking they were probably just short staffed I brushed it off. So then we proceeded to wait another 12 minutes before the young guy finally showed up and gives me the food. He was apologizing and I said it fine it's not his fault. I was just ready to eat. Unfortunately for me the chicken was honestly cold to the touch. I didn't feel like waiting any longer and just decided to leave. The only reason I even wrote this whole book of a review is because this kind of thing ALWAYS seems to happen here. The Sonic on the other side of town and even in Newbern are almost always timely and have good food. However, this one on St.Johns...

love the chilli cheese tots or chilli cheese fries. I love that I can get a bag of ice for two or three dollars. and I love their ice. its ice cream delicious. my big thing with sonic is the fact of its known for its ice cream and happy hour, yet Thats the only time I can afford to go. they need to list all the items, everything they sell is not ON the menu. like do they still have a brown bag special? ALSO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THOSE BLAND BURGERS. AND LASTLY....a lot of people draw social security Thats SSA not SSI BUT SSA. WE WORKED FOR THE MONEY WE DRAW. SONIC AND ALL RESTAURANTS SHOULD ADJUST their PRICES. OR AT LEAST have PART OF MENU FOR lower paid people AND like SITUATIONS. HAVE YOU noticed a lot of retail and restaurants are going to lower prices.the high end era is out. good stuff cheaper price .NOW THATS THE WAY YOU MAKE THE MONEY AND. YOUR KEEP REGULAR CLIENTS AND GAIN A LOT MORE CUSTOMERS .EVEN THE MOVIE THEATER LOWERED...

Great place right in town and very quick service. Everyone is always really nice as well when I order here. I would recommend going here period but they have amazing Breakfast Burritos and milkshakes. I usually try to come here weekly to get at least one milkshake and I get Breakfast Burritos all the time. They're right next to a car wash and you can order ahead so you could get food and then eat or drink something while getting a car wash. It's less than a mile from where I just moved and with them being so nice, it's hard not to come here as often as I do. Sometimes the app messes up but you can always press the red button and tell them about the order you placed ahead of...
