I walked in with questions about the portion of the birria items since I was ordering to go and for multiple people. I was treated as if I was an inconvenience to the establishment by asking general questions about this item I’m trying for the first time. A lady who conveniently takes money walked away in the midst of our conversation to get another person to speak to me and of course the typical “she doesn’t speak English line was used” which makes absolutely no sense working a front register where you’re expected to be greeted and understood when especially exchanging money. Please do better in regards to training your employees who don’t speak about English how body language/non verbal interaction affects customer service just as much. And the tall American white guy who was very dry and nonchalant assisting me, most definitely need to do better in terms of customer service. Hands down the BEST Mexican food in town. Their complimentary chips and salsa are to die for, along with their queso dip. They have a large menu of different kinds of Mexican food and a children's menu with Mexican and American food to choose from. Every Tuesday is $1 tacos -- amazing! And you cannot beat their happy hour prices, or their buy one, get one free margaritas on Thursdays. On top of this their food will be served to your table hot off the grill within 5 minutes of ordering -- it's incredible. Never will I ever be coming back here. Charged me for salsa when salsa is free, odd but whatever that’s fine. But then, It was almost $8 for a bag of chips and $14 for CHEESE DIP!? The food is good, but definitely not THAT good. $55 for 2 meals and cheese. I will be going else where for now. I get more food for way cheaper at Los Portales.
