Can you believe the stupidity for a business? You can't make this stuff up. A friend of mine and I went there last night for dinner (May 18, 2018) purposely to support a local business in the suburbs--something we like--and to check it out as a place for bringing beer aficionado friends to--read "potential more business". The two young men at the check-in said that we could not have the only available table, which happened to be a booth, because they save it for larger parties (read four people instead of two--perhaps you could squeeze in five if they put a chair on the end). I pointed out that they have guaranteed business for beverages and food right here and asked if they were going to turn that away "in case" a foursome came in? The answer was that we could be put on a waiting list--NOTE--this place is so small that there is no place to stand to wait--it means going back outside or in the car. So let's say two parties of two came one after another, both turned away, and no foursome ever came. They lost a lot business, not just then, but permanently. And get this, they had several booths, so if a party of four/five came, they could wait until one of the other parties in a booth left and have the first booth that became available. So they permanently lost the business of two separate families, and all their guests, because neither of us will EVER support a business that would be so stupid. Terrible customer service. Terrible business practice. Makes you wonder what other stupid practices they have. A bird in hand is worth two in the bush. Or, two in the restaurant are worth more than four in the imagination--let alone all the future business they would have gotten. We were in utter disbelief and laughing about the stupidity. We went to Yankee Tavern to eat instead and had wonderful drinks, food, atmosphere. The decor is great, as well as the outdoor seating. They also provide Corn In the Hole games in sand pits. My alcoholic beverage was Yankee Bulldog--Highly recommend it. Will be spending my summer there with...
Read moreThey're certainly known for having some of the very best burgers in town and they're nothing like the rest of the burgers around town. I like to call them - open-faced juicy's. 2 thin patties with lots of gooey cheese between the patties.
And now, they've created a true juicy masterpiece! Outstanding flavor, cooked perfectly, grilled bun and molten hot cheese with every last bite. Every. last. Bite! Matt's Bar? Never heard of it! In all seriousness, Matt's could probably learn a thing or two, or three, or.... about how to make an exceptional Juicy!
My foodie and food blogging began with the introduction of my Juicy Lucy Challenge and there are 17 spots listed with Burgers and Bottles sitting in the top spot! If you're wondering, I have Matt's at the very bottom! If you want to see the complete list, send me a message! :)

This place is going to be added to my Twin Cities Top Ten Burger Joints blog most definitely! I was told by several of my friends to check this place out so I finally did and was glad I did. Almost all of their burgers are served like an open-face juicy; 2 flattend 1/2 lb. grilled burgers with all the delicious ingredients smashed in between.
All kinds of unique options to choose from, but for my first trip (and not the last), I went with their Fired Up Burger. Jalapenos and melted Jack Cheese between the 2 patties with lettuce and a Green Chili Mayo to top it off. Very juicy, very delicious and worth a trip to Eagan to check this place out!
Can't wait to get back to try some of their additional burger options and I really want to take down some of their Sriracha Wings!
Guess you could say they continue to strive...

Took the team out to lunch due to a few team members raving about the incredible shakes that have flavor combos you've never heard of. As for the shakes, they sure are right. I'll go back for the shakes, but that's about it. Maybe the fried pickle app, it was pretty good.
They are trying the same wild combinations on their burgers and sides, but it just doesn't work. At $15 a copy plus $3-$5 for a side, the burgers should be out of this world, but they fall way short. I had the Farm Yard Burger because I love an egg on a burger.
The burger is a marvel to the eyes, but that's where it stops. As you can imagine a burger with an egg on it can get messy, so it's important to have a great bun to hold it all together. Nope, mass produced egg bun that was dry and crumbly. By the time I had a couple of bites the bun had completely disintegrated. Tasting the burger itself was disappointing as it was not seasoned.
The fries were decent, but the oversized onion rings are over breaded and the fryer probably wasn't hot enough for my batch, so they were grease soaked.
There is a full-service bar that features a wide selection of whisky and they feature a large selection of bottled soda if that's your thing.
Conclusion: May try it again, but only...
