The Chicken Shanty — Restaurant in Eagle Point

I ordered a lettuce wrapped sandwich and got a pile of yellow lettuce and chicken wrapped up in paper. You could only have eaten this with a fork and knife and no where near $11 worth of food. The ingredients were low quality and if it wasn't for the sauce, there would be no flavor to speak of. The side salad was a small pile of shredded iceburg with a few sliced green olives on top. This was my second and last visit. I rarely leave poor reviews but this place is not as advertised at all. My first visit wasn't much better, but I chalked it up to opening a new location. I think I was wrong.

I have never sent a plate back or returned a food item ever. This was a poor enough experience that I closed my office for a second time to drive back and ask for my money back after two bites. Have been several times it’s never impressive just sounds better sometimes than the fast food options however I always regret it. I heard them talking about the chicken sitting out a while, the worker felt and said it’s still cold just put it in the fridge. I forgot that happen until I ordered my food tonight and got to thinking about it so should have known better than to return. Went again tonight the wrap was inedible very watery and lettuce was gross. We waited for it to be finished so it wasn’t that it sat. The fries are normally decent but we’re burnt. My husbands sandwich was horrible and even looked horrible wish we took a pic. We were wishing we went to carls! The girl working the window was nice so I gave two stars and considering it was ok in the past just never had been worth the money that’s for sure, tonight we threw it all away and ate a frozen...

First time placing an order, via grubhub, and their food did not disappoint. It was packed well and had the non tampering tape on the containers. I ordered the 4 piece chicken meal with two sides and two dipping sauces, i opted for just fries and omitted the coleslaw per my request. The chicken tenders were generous size and moist on the inside with a delicious crispy, not to thick, crust. The fries were nice and crispy, not soggy at all. I appreciate the generous portions and quality you can taste. I only wish they offered corn and mashed potatoes. I also got the prickly pear lemonade and it was quite refreshing without being sickly sweet, very nice balance. Will definitely be ordering food again! Keep up...
