Brunswick Brunch & Bagels Formerly Crazy bagels — Restaurant in East Brunswick Township

UPDATED Everything about this place is WELL below par, from the dirty floors, counters and shelving to the girls (not women) complaining and talking about the woman who just remarked that the place is dirty! First and unquestionably, the last visit here. I am looking forward to seeing the establishment that replaces this one. The owners response to my opinion of this establishment speaks volumes for the sincerity of my review. Eat at your own risk!!! Update- The owner intelligently deleted his response to my review. In all fairness, it's a new establishment, and I'm going to give it another shot and update my review accordingly.×××× UPDATE 5/24/24* As I stated, I went through for a second opinion, being the establishment just opened. Honestly, this establishment has made tremendous strides since my last visit. The service is better, the food is definitely worth stopping by for, and most importantly, the place looks 100% cleaner than it did on my initial visit. Having said that, the community seems to need a good bagel store exactly where this one is located. New businesses sometimes just need time to get to the place that's respectable. I’ve been going to this place since they open. Unfortunately, this past week was my last time. One of the servers behind the counter took the wrong order. When she walked over with the wrong order I informed her this is not what I had ordered. She says that’s what you order . I said I’m sorry but I don’t eat what’s on the plate. She took it back and I followed her back to the counter & gave her again what I originally asked for. She looked at me, and said you ordered what we served you. I repeated again I don’t eat what you thought I had ordered. She rolled her eyes & said okay whatever we placed again what you want. I was appalled of her response. I never received an apology. After waiting again 20 more minutes for the correct food order while seating at one of the tables with my family we got the stared down from all 3 servers. It was a very uncomfortable feeling. We finished our food and we all agreed we will never returned. All they had to do is to apologize and keep it moving . But the attitude and the rudeness was a complete turn off. Update - 10/25/25:

I had to drop a star for now - as another reviewer had also said, my original 5 star review was based on the previous owners of Crazy Bagels. The reason for the change is - the bagels seem to have changed. For example - before, the jalapeno bagels had nice, visible chunks of jalapenos in them and were nice and spicy. My most recent order had NO visible jalapeno peppers in them. I hope this is just an off day, so that's why I only removed 1 star.

Second, the last time I ordered a breakfast sandwich, PEC with a hashbrown on a jalapeno bagel - when I got it home to eat it - there was no hashbrown on it.
