Subway — Restaurant in East Donegal Township

I still get butterflies thinking about how I met the love of my life, Brick, at Subway. It was a typical Wednesday afternoon, and I was grabbing a quick bite before my job as a landscaper- I ordered my trusty B.L.T., and as I was waiting for my sandwich to be made, I saw him standing in line behind me, checking out the menu board. I was immediately drawn to his smile, and I couldn't help but notice how his eyes lit up when he ordered his Turkey Breast sandwich with avocado. I mean, who doesn't love a good Turkey Breast, am I right? As we waited for our sandwiches, we struck up a conversation, and before I knew it, we'd been chatting for 20 minutes. Our sandwiches were ready, and as we exchanged numbers, he offered me a bite of his Turkey Breast - it was love at first bite (of sandwich). Fast forward a few months, and we were inseparable. We'd go on long walks, have deep conversations, and share our favorite Subway sandwiches with each other. He introduced me to the magic of the Steak & Cheese, and I converted him into an Italian B.M.T. fanatic. It was meant to be. One day, Brick took me back to the same Subway where we first met, got down on one knee, and proposed with a ring hidden inside a footlong Italian B.M.T. sub box (yes, you read that right). We eloped a few months later, and our wedding cake was even shaped like a giant Subway sandwich. Our friends and family would often joke that our love was built on the foundation of Subway, and honestly, they weren't wrong. To this day, whenever we go back to that Subway, I'm reminded of the day our love story began - over a delicious sandwich, of course. I honestly thought i was on some kind of punked show with how bad the service is. I wish i could give NO STARS!!!. After my experience here I will definitely be reading reviews before entering any restaurant. Im lost on how they still have a shop open after all this nonsense. After the lady decided she was going to suck on her fingers and not wash her hands before making the subs is absolutely disgusting. I guess she thought b/c she's putting gloves on it wouldn't be a big deal umm but it definitely is. She and her other employee made all 4 of my subs 2 footings & 2 6 inches and I made it clear i will not be buying these subs I'm gonna be feeding my family nothing but bread. She thought she was going to tell me since they were made I would have to purchase. Umm no I don't u simply damage it out and write the reason why the lost now if she wanted to say the truth or not up to her. I call back the next day asking to speak with a manager and can I have the name and apparently their is a privacy act this lady has watched to much tv. When your a manager of an establishment their is no privacy act. Well now I called the corporate office. If I feel I don't get anywhere their I'm gonna keep going till something is done!...i don't ever go this far I normally chuck it up as a lost/ lesson learned. I would give less stars if possible... AVOID AT ALL Costs, the manger/ owner called police over coupon.

Here's the whole story. Told kid behind counter that we had coupon from school fund raiser book and wanted 4 6" subs. He made started making subs and older woman (Owner / Manager maybe) got up from table (she was eating with her family) to ring us out.

She started off by saying that coupon didn't apply to promotional subs. We told her we got a club and a chicken and that they weren't promos... then she said coupon only applied to plain ham or plain turkey. We asked where on coupon it said that (it didn't). She was getting belligerent and said that she only accepted coupon as courtesy and she wasn't a participating location... she was clearly just lying through her teeth at this point.

We told her if she wasn't going to take coupon that we just wanted 2 subs for the kid and we'd eat at home. She refused and told us that we had to buy all 4 (one wasn't even made yet).

We tried to stay calm but she called police on us... Talk about...
