So here's the deal... We Didn't know what to expect since I wanted to take my girlfriend out for an early anniversary celebration for country line dancing... Which neither of us has ever done. But I just got her some awesome boots from Boot Barn and we wanted to use them. I knew they were a restaurant also. So we figured we would go have dinner and then "get to steppin'". The convenience was great .. Right off the exit off the highway. It was set in the Holiday Inn. So that was a bit confusing on how to get in but not the worst thing in the world. We paid the cover and then were seated. Now typically (since I'm in the business) our server would come over and greet us and get a drink order... But that's where things didn't happen. Music is playing and they are giving a line dance lesson which is great but we were too late to just jump right in... Since we are complete Noobs. Our server ignored us for a good 15 maybe longer until she finally came over. No apologies no introduction just what can I get you to drink. It's not like she didn't see us seated there. She'd been to the table across from us two or three times already. So I say we'll just give you the whole order. She seemed annoyed by that. I'd think hey great they are saving me steps since obviously she's busy. (If she is I couldn't tell since she wasn't on the floor) so can I tell you I was able to find the bathroom which is outside the Saloon in the hotel (which I don't love...it's a restaurant and bar give them a dedicated bathroom) and come back before our drinks even arrived. Can I also say that she never came back to our table... She must have handed us to another server instead. She didn't leave she was still there so IDK. The food was good though and the drinks too. The live band was great and we did hit the dance floor and we were a disaster but some of the regulars tried to help the lost causes anyway. We had a great night. I hope they get better trained staff...at least in attentiveness. If you're looking for a new experience you should absolutely go. We...
Read morePoor service, bad tasting food, although the Root-Beer Soda was really good. Sadly I bought way too many coupons for this place. When I first went there the food was really good but with each visit there-after the food quality has declined although the prices have gone up. This last visit was bad; the burgers had a bad taste and were not the same as in the past. They got a new one-page double sided menu and with it new prices. What happened to the fresh hand-padded 8oz. burger advertised on the old menu that was purchased locally with dual blends of meat; these burgers were frozen, not close to 8oz and nasty. The chicken tenders were not bad but at $8.00 overpriced. Almost forgot, what happened to the Brochette Roll served with the burger, we were served some seed or flower dusted old stale roll, not even heated as before..WOW...
The worst is every time I go there I get a new waitress who does not know the menu, cannot answer basic questions without having to go back to the kitchen to ask someone. The waitress I had this time was more interested standing at the bar station texting on her cell phone than waiting on the three tables she had. Finally I went to the bar to get a refill on my soda as not to interrupt her texting marathon.
This place must not have any management and if they do, they are invisible as no manager has ever come to my table to check on the food or anything for that matter.
Lately, the food has been so bad I am to the point to just order and then ask for a to-go-box. Can't wait until these coupons are all, never, ever will I go to the Holiday Inn - Winner's Circle Saloon after my coupons are all. The guest is 'No Winner' at Holiday Inn - Winner's...
Read moreMy family of 4 dined for the first time at this restaurant. Our food was good but I can't say that for the rest of our experience. Our appetizers came out quickly as well as our salads. We weren't even done with our salad and appetizers when our food came out so it was a little cramped to try to fit all of our food on our table at one time. We would have preferred to have finished our salad and appetizers before our food came out. My husband's ordered a steak with broccoli and a caesar salad. He got his steak but it had a baked potato on his plate and he never got the Caesar salad. My son's girlfriend ended up getting his broccoli on her plate. When my husband mention to the waitress that things were wrong she kind of looked a little annoyed at him and muttered that "he must have plated it wrong". Now I've never worked as a waitress but I would think you wouldn't serve somebody a meal that wasn't correct. I understand that it might not have been her fault that it was plated incorrectly but she should have corrected it before serving it to us. My husband did end up getting the broccoli and the Caesar salad, which we took the salad to go since he had already started eating his dinner. We will probably go back again because we really did enjoy the food and sometimes restaurants do have...
