Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in East Hartford

I was there about 10:30 ish on Monday evening. There was no one in line and honestly I thought the place was closed it was so dark around the building. I ordered a salt and caramel medium blizzard . It took incredibly long considering they were servicing no one else. I saw about 6 people but only 2 of the 6 were actually working the rest where just chatting. The WORSE thing was the blizzard had stale product in it. It tasted terrible!! Had that been my first blizzard I never would have bought another one again. I normally frequent Dairy Queen in Winsted CT. The staff from East Hartford should take a trip west of them and see how product should be made and customers...

Ridiculously slow service. Got stuck at the window after they swiped my credit card, for about 10 minutes, while the girl at the register asked her co-workers questions about how to use the point of sale system. My kids ice creams were on the counter and they refused to give them to me even though I had paid minutes ago. It took so long I finally just asked for a refund. I will start by saying, as someone with 20+ years of retal/customer service experience I was completely unimpressed with the service at this location. I took my 3 children for a bite and a blizzard and not only did I have to repeat my order 3 times (and they still got it wrong) the young man taking my order seemed as interested in helping me as he would be watching paint dry. I spent over $40 on 6 dogs and 4 blizzards and even my 13 year old knew the service was less than desirable. Improve the service and I will gladly...
