I’m adding onto this post because your response was very insincere. Kids are clearly not a favorite customer at this restaurant. Your waitress told me that I needed to “control my children” from the register in the front and we were sitting in the back of the restaurant where my kids were going back and forth between the 2 tables that WE were occupying. She continued to comment about how they were disturbing customers when we were the only customers dining in at the time plus a few people waiting for to go orders. Because she had such a bad attitude from the beginning, as soon as those words came out of her mouth I began packing up my family to leave your restaurant. At that point, I heard her from the kitchen complaining to other staff members that I was mad because she told me that I needed to take care of my kids. I was mad because she was extremely rude and unprofessional. So much so that 2 of the other customers waiting came outside and told us that no one complained about my children it was just your waitress who had a problem. I have 3 children under the age of 4. What I don’t need is to be spoken to or treated that way on my lunch break. Do better. Employ people who enjoy human interaction. Not grumpy, disgruntled people. The customer service here is absolutely horrible! The waitress was short with everyone when ordering and quick to walk away before we could ask for anything else. And kids are apparently I problem here too. They definitely need a sign on the door that says “not kid friendly”. So so...
Read moreI’ve been getting take out from Queens Pizza very regularly for the past 5 and a half years. I spend about $40-$50 a week here so I’ll let you do the math on how much money I’ve contributed to this business. I want to start by saying that the food is always great. I’ve never had a bad meal. The only issue and reason for the reduced review is what happens at the register. When paying cash and the total is $14 and change and I hand over $15 or $19 and change and I hand over $20, and so on a so forth, the coin change is rarely returned. I just went in tonight but didn’t have enough cash so I had to use my card. The cashier was friendly enough until I was handed the receipt and told to sign it (the receipt says ‘do not sign’ on it) and she watched as I dashed out the tip section and kept the end total the same as the starting total. When she saw that I wasn’t leaving a tip, her mood instantly changed as I received a very passive aggressive ‘have a nice night’ as the receipt was snatched back. I blame the ‘tip culture’ for this type of behavior and it’s getting out of hand as it has evidently infected small family establishments. Don’t let this review distract you from the food. The food is always great. I really dislike feeling pressured to tip on take out orders and greatly dislike being made to feel bad about not tipping on take out orders. Hopefully something will be done about this type of behavior before I take my...
