As a former (escaped?) NYer, it was nice to dine at a place that took me back to good, non-pretentious, delicious Italian food. Don't let the humble appearance dissuade you. This was great food at a good price, and plenty left for later reheating. Missed the name of the fellow running the show yesterday, but he was very friendly. Food was ready quickly and he brought it out to the table and checked on us frequently. The lasagna was excellent and came with a basic but fresh chop salad and fluffy, not overly heavy or greasy garlic knots. The spouse's Cesar wrap was delicious and well proportioned. The decor is relaxed. Overall very good experience that took me back to New York days. Side note, the plastic soda cups were a nice throwback.

The pizza here is fantastic. Thin crisp crust, plenty of toppings and just the right balance of sauce and cheese. I really like that I can buy by the slice. Two slices of pepperoni makes for a delicious and satisfying lunch. The gentlemen who work here are dry nice and the restaurant is clean, cozy and smells great.

We stumbled upon this pizzeria when visiting Lancaster, and I wish we would have taken a different turn. The man at the counter was sullen and slow in taking our order. (To be fair, maybe he wasn't used to working the counter -- maybe someone called out, and he had to come off the ovens or something?) Anyway, we kept having to repeat our order as he struggled to find the correct buttons on the register, then we still ended up not getting part of our order in the end. We ordered mozzarella sticks and pizza, both of which were lukewarm. The pizza, in particular, had a small amount of toppings, and the cheese was barely melted. Because the crust wasn't warm, there was no crisp or crunch to it. I was pretty disappointed. Then, when we asked for a box, a young worker came out with the box and insisted on placing the leftovers in the box for us.(We figured, we paid for it, and hopefully we could add some cheese and heat it up when we got home!) However, instead of placing the slices in the pizza box in a circular pizza-shaped fashion (allowing the lid to close properly), he piled them one on top of the other, and then closed the box awkwardly. We just rearranged the slices and went on our way. That was not a big deal -- it was just odd. Overall, not great service, cold (and not very flavorful) food. Would...

Not sure what the deal really is with this place, but I ordered delivery as I’m here out of town. The delivery was quick from Slice, but the French fries were horribly undercooked and barely edible- could not finish them and I love French fries. No ketchup provided either nor utensils or napkins FYI. Not sure how we will eat the salad. Now I lived in California for 8 years and never was I once served a hamburger on huge sub roll…? Weird sandwich, It tasted good enough I guess. The fried ravioli was ehh and the sauce spilled all over the container - so that was fun. Funnel fries were chewy. I should just stick to pizza. Sorry. Oh and there was a huge piece of random lettuce stuck in my side of mayo…eww. Update : after I got a fork for the chicken Caesar salad they had put chopped onion and tomato in it which makes no sense-my daughter...

We’re staying at a hotel and they didn’t send us any napkins or silverware when one of the things we ordered was a salad! I don’t eat cheese and they sent mozzarella sticks instead of the fried mushrooms I ordered. The brucetta was just a long half loaf of soggy mushy bread with warm tomatoes on top. Bread should be on the side in a Togo order. The ketchup was inside the fry container so it was warm and there were no lids on the condiments just a light layer of foil. The cucumber salad doesn’t have any dressing on it. Where I’m from it’s premarinated in vinegerette. If I wanted a salad I would have just ordered a salad. We read all the reviews and they were so good it’s so disappointing. I wanted to make sure the next person has a more realistic expectation maybe pizza is the way to go here. Also would have been nice to have some...
