I recently had an experience at a restaurant that left me quite concerned and disappointed. As I was enjoying my meal, I couldn't help but hear raised voices coming from behind the counter. It became clear that the manager was involved, and their tone was harsh and filled with anger.
Now, I understand that managing a restaurant can be a demanding job, but it's important for managers to lead with professionalism and treat their employees with respect. The way this manager was yelling at the staff was disheartening to witness. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere for both the employees and the customers.
I believe that a positive work environment is crucial for the success of any establishment. It's disheartening to see employees being berated and belittled in front of others. It not only affects their morale but also reflects poorly on the overall dining experience.
Leaving that restaurant, I couldn't help but reflect on the impact of such behavior on the staff. They deserve to be treated with dignity and understanding, especially in a customer service-oriented industry. It's a shame that the manager seemed to have lost sight of that.
In the future, I hope the management of that restaurant takes the necessary steps to address this issue. It's important to foster a supportive and respectful workplace for employees to thrive in. As a customer, I want to enjoy my dining experience in an environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated.
I may not be returning to that restaurant anytime soon, but I do hope that they consider the impact of their manager's behavior and take appropriate measures to ensure a more positive and respectful atmosphere for their employees and...
Read moreFood has definitely changed for the worse. Used to be the best and cheapest place in town to eat 20 years ago. Now, not worth my time to travel there. The fries tasted old and stale, and the chili sauce dog had a spoiled meat taste. Asked for a refund, and left. Decided to give another try beens I was in the neighborhood. 3/15/25. Service was 3/5 stars due to I ordered extra sauce on my fries, so the one doing the order smarted off that she already added extra sauce. But is was just as dry as the original order with sauce. The place was empty for a Saturday. It was fairly clean other than the restroom needed attention. The sauce wasn’t very good. So I’d probably been better off without the extra sauce. I heard new owner took over. So I guess it’s never going to taste like it once did in the 80’s and 90’s coming through High School and afterwards stopping by for a quick bite and hanging out with friends. Walking in to an empty restaurant should be a sign to run. Needs improvement to bring it back the way it used to be. I’ll hold the hunger until I get back closer to home. Hope to see a once thriving business come back to life someday. The new paint on the building definitely changed the look. Made it more like a...
Read moreThis place has been going downhill lately. This place needs redone from the ground up.. the drive thru is a disaster and clogs up the road to the point no one can pass by cars waiting in line. The restaurant itself needs to be remodeled. The owner has felt it necessary to make the idea of just getting carry out dreadful by moving that to the side where people order and sit down and eat. Bad idea!!! The whole back looks a mess. There's too many people behind the counter and not enough cooking or doing other things You guys really need to do something about the food. More often than not, I've gotten stale bread or food that hasn't been thoroughly cooked. I know many people who will never eat there again because they have gotten sick from eating there. Plus, your food shouldn't taste like dirt, just saying 🤷🏻♂️ I will not be returning until these are met and I know that doesn't mean a lot but for a local hotspot, and a place people from outside the area want to try when they visit, it's a god awful representation of the food and reflects how sub par and decrepit this city has become. I'd give it a 0 but Google...
