numaade — Restaurant in East Los Angeles

This seemed like a welcoming place...shaded tables outside seemed like a good place for me and my service dog to have lunch...we sat outside...i secured my very train service animal who wears a safety harness and has never so much as growled at a pedestrian as i patienty awaited for someone to bring a menu the manager stuck her head out the door and said the patio was for customers only...i told her i have every intention of ordering food that i just needed to finish my email...she said well tie up your dog who was literally attached to me...an apology and a menu would've kept us there...upon our departure she came outside to disinfect the area and insulted me from a distance...im a medic...

Love LOVE love! The friendliness of the staff, openness with a large variety of eats. It's not often you get such a large plate at a vegan/ health cafe though and ours was king size. I see why the carry out boxes were prominently positioned on the counter. You needed them. I don't mind paying a bit more for a meal when I can continue to enjoy it the next day. I recommend the Vegan Venice Sandwich.

Wanted to take time to show my appreciation to Ms. Maria and her son for great customer service. I have recently moved to Hollywood. I felt so welcome and great energy when I walk-In. Thank You guys We need more positive energy during this pandemic. Highly recommended this place.
