King Torta — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Good Food. Rude Cashier and Bad customer Service. I placed 2 separate orders. First order I asked for sour cream on one of the items the Cashier was very stuck up and rude said they couldnt do it. Which I didn't understand why if I was paying for it. So i had to buy 2 sides of sour cream they could have just put it on top. Then the second order was the same as the first. And She still got it wrong I got some thing else i didnt ask for. But by the time i noticed i had already given my friend his food. Then my food was just like thrown in the bag No straws No napkins No forks. I didnt get the girls name but personally As some one who works at a restaurant myself I Would be very annoyed working with one like that.. Lol. Maybe it was the hot weather Idk but Seems like she hated her job and just wanted to get the heck out of there Whatever her reason No need to be snarky. But over all the food was very good. What does it tell you when the best burgers in town are made at the Mexican restaurant?! And their own Mexican specialties are even better.

Good old-fashioned burgers, with fresh toppings. Tasty thick steak fries are never burnt or soggy.

Mexican food that is made fresh when you order it. They have authentic choices like menudo and cow tongue, and they have Americanized offerings for those who like stuff to be not as exotic, like ground beef, diced chicken, and pork meat.

Best tamales I have ever had. Fresh pico de gallo. Awesome hot sauces that are true to taste, no sugar added which is healthier too. My husband LOVES the chorizo also.

If you live in North Plains or are traveling through, stop here and you won't regret it. The building is a bit old, but the staff is welcoming and very nice. The prices are super reasonable for what you get.

The food does not live up to the name. Don't get too excited and if you haven't been here, save yourself the time.

Messy ass hell to have there tortas. The place is surprisingly clean but the food is definitely not worth what you pay. The beans and rice had a nasty burnt taste and I told my 1 year old."it's okay, you don't have to eat it. I don't blame you if you don't like it" Carnitas tasted old or as if it's reheated or not made fresh. Lettuce had a dirty fridge taste. Only thing I enjoyed was my torta bread but that was not until I removed every ingredient inside.

I suggest this place revamp there menu and put a little more effort into making a better meal. You can still retain a fast food service but provide quality food with higher prices that people will pay. This place has the volume of customers but needs more effort to maintain that...
