Pros: Decent sized portions. TV's with sports on. Cons: Bland tasting food. Mediocre service. Dirty. Expensive. BYOB (this is a pro for the regulars)
Taking everything in consideration I would not come back to this place. Everything seemed below average, not a horrible nightmare but enough to keep me away.
I spent $60 for a meal for two, 2 tostada's $12/ea), empanadas, mixed cocktail ($20), and soft drinks. Sure it's seafood, so this is what one would expect to spend, but the quality was below average. Only good thing was the portion sizes on the tostada's and the mixed seafood cocktail. I've had better at local seafood trucks at half the price! Not to mention service! The waitress was impatient, I asked her about a plate and she wasn't very helpful or attentive. She wasn't rude, but very apathetic and rushed. It's not bad food, it's just overpriced for quality and taste.
Whole restaurant had litter throughout, napkins on floors, straws, sticky floor/table etc. I blame the clientele, seems they're more interested in having their beer they brought in than the food they're paying for.
Hate leaving bad reviews, but I don't understand the high ratings here. I was in the area and craved seafood on a hot day, made the mistake of trusting reviews on this one. Locals will like probably because they know the people, but the business itself...
Read moreI used to come here a lot before covid the food was excellent and the prices were reasonable.
I haven't been here in years, this restaurant hasn't age well. I ordered a combination shrimp octopus cocktail, a very typical seafood cocktail from Mexico, and an orchata . The server, a nice Mexican lady, seemed to be running the place. She was nice and personable.
She brought tostadas and salsa instead of chips. The salsa was green chilly and somewhat spicy. But it had a nice flavor and somewhat familiar. The orchata was served in a beer glass it was very good. The cocktail was served in a huge glass cup as big as my head it made me feel like a little kit because it oversized. The cocktail lacked lime juice, and I added ketchup and tapatio. The shrimp was OK and plentiful. Usually, a cocktail doesn't have this much shrimp. the octopus smell horrible and didn't taste good old comes to mind..
Quantity doesn't compensate for quantity.
I hope your...

When we first arrived there was a small group musicians we had them play a couple songs for us. Then 20 mins later the tamborazo arrived oh yeah I forgot you're allowed to bring your own beer into this location. I would recommend this place to anybody if you want some good seafood and live...
