D'essence Cafe — Restaurant in East Point

Absolutely divine! My recent trip to D'Essence was nothing short of a culinary symphony, a true five-star experience that left my taste buds singing. Let's start with the cheeseburger and fries: the burger was a masterpiece, a perfectly grilled patty, juicy and flavorful, nestled between a soft, slightly toasted bun. The cheese melted into a gooey, savory blanket, and the fresh toppings added a delightful crunch. As for the fries, they were golden perfection—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. Then came the two bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches: these were comfort food elevated to an art form. The crispy, smoky bacon paired beautifully with the fluffy, perfectly cooked eggs and the creamy, melted cheese. Each bite was a symphony of textures and flavors, a warm, satisfying hug in sandwich form. The waffle platter was a sweet dream. The waffles themselves were light and airy, with a gentle sweetness that wasn't overpowering. They were golden brown and crispy on the edges, yet soft and tender within. Each bite was a delightful dance of sweet and savory, especially when paired with the syrup and whatever other toppings were included. It was the perfect brunch treat. And oh, the lemonade! A refreshing elixir that cut through the richness of the meal with its bright, tangy sweetness. It was clearly made with real lemons, not some sugary concentrate, and had that perfect balance of tart and sweet that quenches your thirst and leaves you wanting more. It was the ideal companion to such a hearty, delicious feast. D'Essence has truly captured the essence of comfort food, elevated to a level of gourmet delight. Every element of my order was prepared with care and attention to detail, and the flavors were simply unforgettable. I left feeling completely satisfied and already planning my next visit. If you're looking for a meal that warms the soul and delights the palate, D'Essence is the place to be. Five stars, without a doubt!

If it wasn’t for my fiancé I would have never frequented this hole in a wall place. We place our order online , wait outside, and pick it up ( no third party delivery) and our wings are never crispy like we specify in the notes. The wing sauce is also extremely hot as if they don’t expect for kids to like hot wings. We called up there to speak to the young lady that recognizes us every time we come because apparently they are never that busy and the rude owner answered the phone which is the reason we will never return. With that attitude you’ll definitely be out of business soon. Humble yourself and learn how to accept constructive criticism.

Update: You just got to have the last word. Two people ate there so two people are entitled to leave a review. Harassment would be if I was to come down there to speak with you in person everyday. You are not worth the time but clearly you have a lot of time on your hands busy lady. Enjoy your day and stop replying to strangers. You can simply ignore my review and keep it moving “owner”. Go promote your business maybe you won’t have so much time on your hands. Stop blackballing yourself. Yesserski as you would say....

My second time at the D'essence. It never would thought that this Jewel of a restaurant would be hidden in such a place. The ambiance is really nice I'm thinking about throwing a girls night out party here or my Big brother's 50th birthday party here. The food is delicious you have D the professional chef. And all the food is freshly prepared with fresh tasty ingredients. I learned about this little Jewel by doordashing. The prices are very reasonable you'll love it. My first visit I dined in and I had the catfish plate for the breakfast menu they sell breakfast menu all day as well as burgers wings and any other delectable that you may have taste for. The catfish was so fresh lemony tasty that it melts in your mouth. My second visit I had the veggie omelette they had all the condiments the toast was crisp my bacon was crisp not overdone just right the veggie omelette was fluffy full of all the fresh ingredients. Last but not least the customer service is impeccable it is a BOB. Please go out and support you won't be disappointed....
