Well I grew up about four houses up from what now is a park and used to be our fire station and community center. The fire station was always open to us kids we used to help wash the fire truck me and my sister and a couple friends from the neighborhood but the fire fighters were awesome group of guys always there for us and was cool about letting us hang at the station . But nowadays ahhh just bland to me everything has changed too much but my kids have played in this park quite a few times my Grandmother's house is about seven houses up from there still so I'm over there daily . Egan park is a nice clean quite community. The only loud and annoying things around there is the airport...

There are only 2 of the 4 swings that were available before. There is only 1 slide when previously there were 3. The walkway between those 3 slides has been removed. Two sets of monkey bars were removed. The area the previous structure took up has been narrowed and they built a concrete lip around the play area.

Β Β Β Read moreOk so I'm posting on here for Eagan Park because I was raised here for most of my life at least 29 yrs I'm only 38 now so I will say it is not what it used to be or how I used to know it . It is a very quite place to live by the airport inside ATL outside of 285 perimeter . Anyhow I would tell you back in the day to stay away but now it is a nice place to come visit a small historical town nice restaurants around every corner and not to far to downtown Atlanta. And Marta can run you anywhere...
