I finally tried the pancakes, and I have officially put in my application for adoption because whooooo chile—these pancakes! 😩🔥 I could live off these pancakes. I didn’t even put syrup on ’em! 🤯
I’m so nice and full off these pancakes. They are so fluffy, the edges have a lil crisp to ’em, and they ain’t dry! Did I tell y’all I ain’t put syrup on them thangs!?!? 😭💨

🚨 Brick & Mortar Location Soft Opening! 🚨
Today was the first day of Vegan House of Pancakes' brand new brick and mortar location, and I’m here to spill all the syrupy tea! 🍯
First things first—give them grace! This is literally Day 1, and as expected with any opening, there were a few growing pains. I had about an hour and a half wait for my food, but trust me, it was worth every minute. Honestly, I wasn't tripping over the wait because I already knew what was coming—those pancakes! Babeee, who you talking to?! I’d travel states for those pancakes if I had to! 🥞✨
Shoutout to Grey, who was super hospitable, especially as the line grew and folks started getting antsy. He was out there offering complimentary hot chocolate for the wait, which was such a nice gesture. I didn’t try it because I understand what Day 1 can be like. I’ve been to enough opening days to know a wait is to be expected, and I wanted to be patient as they find their groove.
The Setup: Takeout Only: You order at the window and wait. Pre-Orders: Not available yet, but coming soon! The Vibe: The building is PINK, y’all! And as someone whose favorite color is pink, this made me unreasonably happy. 💖
The Food: I switched it up this time! Last visit, I had the Strawberry Cream pancakes (absolute fire!), and today I went for the Blueberry Something (I don’t remember the full name, but it had blueberries on top).
I gotta say, I still prefer the Strawberry Cream. They were fluffier, had a delightful crisp edge, and the cream and strawberries on top added just the right amount of moisture and flavor. The blueberry pancakes were still delicious, but a bit drier compared to the strawberry. They reminded me of IHOP, but better—thicker, tastier, and you could really tell these pancakes were made with love. Like, it felt like our ancestors seasoned them themselves. You can definitely eat these pancakes without syrup, which says a lot.
But I did end up adding syrup because the pancakes soaked up the blueberry sauce super quick! 😂
Overall: Out of 10, these pancakes are still topping the charts! If you can’t handle the wait, maybe give it a few days after the grand opening for them to settle into the groove. But if you can—WAIT FOR IT. It’s...
Read moreFriendliest service I've received in years, feels like family and going home. You can order online or from an outdoor kiosk. I ordered from the car 12 minutes before I arrived, and as I walked up on the patio they called my name and my food was hot and ready. On the patio kiosk and as soon as they called my order they called her name, even though she ordered about 3 minutes after I did. Very quick service! You can take your food to go, or eat on the dining patio. With all of the pollen and Georgia, their white tables and chairs were spic and span clean, we ate on the patio and loved it. We had great conversations with other diners, and were checked on in a respectful manner by the owner, whose lively energy is infectious, and clearly loves, and is invigorated by, what he and his wife have created.
My friend ordered the blueberry gluten-free pancakes, and I ordered the strawberry gluten-free pancakes. We both said they were the best gluten-free pancakes we'd ever had- fluffy, appropriately moist, appealing texture and delicious! I love that the vegan sausage was cooked well-done- crisp on the outside moist on the inside, mouth-watering scrumptious! I'm excited to return with my two pancake-loving kiddos!
Brand new deck and ramp makes it 100% wheelchair accessible, and the ordering kiosk is low enough to be reachable for all. Great thought put into disability justice and...
Read moreMY HONEST review. I was happy to patronize this black owned establishment which is walking distance from my house. I had a to go order. I had the peach pancake breakfast. The food is good. The tofu scramble was okay. However, I ate all of the little that was plated. The potato casserole was delicious! Now for the pancakes: they are really thick and fluffy pancakes. . .I mean really thick. I was surprised that I didn’t find any parts that hadn’t cooked thoroughly. They just taste like pancakes nothing special. I didn’t taste anything different than most other pancakes I’ve had. The topping is what gives it the flavor. This is my reason for the four stars. I think the pancakes would be a lot better if the sauce from the compote was spread over each pancake and the peaches, strawberries, or blueberries added on top of the stack. The pancakes would absorb the sauce which adds flavor. I had one little cup of syrup. I do not like dry pancakes and one cup of syrup is barely enough for one of those pancakes. Not mad at how thick and fluffy they are however, the sauce from the compote spread over each cake would really make them delicious. This is MY HONEST REVIEW and opinion. I would go again to support...
