"WARNING, PATRONS BEWARE,” to all Pizza Valley customers! Be cautious when receiving deliveries from Pizza Valley! On 17 July 2024, Our family's visit to Atlanta turned sour when we discovered that our delivery driver had stolen our Delta Airlines travel vouchers! This was done at the most inopportune time, we were caught up in that worldwide airline/Microsoft hack, and we had no cash and no luggage, so we were relying on those vouchers to eat. We urge Pizza Valley to take necessary actions to ensure their customers' credit cards and travel vouchers, are safe from theft. Please continue to read.
We Flew into Atlanta airport, and we missed our connecting flight, Delta put us up in Sonesta South Airport Hotel, which was a BAD choice itself, see my other review on Sonesta South Airport Hotel, but anyway, Delta gave us travel vouchers to use for meals. Once, we arrived at Sonesta South Airport Hotel, the hotel dining facility closed, and the front desk said you can order food from the outside restaurants, so we ordered food, three Gyros, and three regular fries, from "Pizza Valley, located at 3061 Washington Rd East Point, GA 30344."
The young lady who took our order told us the food would arrive in 45 minutes, but it took the delivery guy over 2 hours. After paying for it, to our disappointment the food was cold and tasted stale, the fries were old, some extra hard, some limp and soggy, and for the Gyros, we didn’t know what the hell that was, it was anything but a Greek Gyro, so bad we didn’t eat it.
The delivery guy, “a sandal-wearing black dude, with a foreign or island accent,” while using a device similar to a white SumUp Solo Credit Card Payment Card Reader, cheated us of our two Delta vouchers and still charged the so-called underpayment to my Visa card, and automatically tipped himself without you realizing it until too late.
Didn’t put two and two together until we arrived back at the Airport and ordered food in the airport restaurant and the waiter said two of the vouchers were used up. Called to speak with a manager or owner of Pizza Valley, and the young lady who answered the call said to call back after 5 p.m. to speak with the owner. The owner never answered the call, so we never got this resolved. Pizza Valley, total Scammers, I will report this to Delta and the...
Read moreOn 8/6/22, my family and I arrived late to the hotel in Atl from our flight We decided to order the food which seemed unbelievably reasonable. Our food order arrived late after the shop closed. To my disappointment my order consisted of cheesesteak, fries, whole cheese pizza and 2 sodas; I asked for the works on my cheesesteak subs (it was supposed to be 2 of everything except the pizza. I thought one of the subs were gone but no they were just flat. The cheesesteak subs were very very scarce on the meat, with wilted lettuce, no other toppings and no cheese. The fries were old, some extra hard and some limp and soggy, the pizza tasted worse than box frozen pizza, and the only good thing was the can sodas. The second order was the same for the cheesesteak and the coldcut only had 1-1 /2 slices of meat and 1/2 slice of cheese, no fixings on the sandwiches. The third order was chicken and fish; it tasted like the fish and chicken were cooked earlier, refrozen, and then redropped again. The 4th order was an Italian coldcut with slice of meat and a and slice of cheese minus the fixings. I called back that night in hope to discuss the matter and the male individual stated to call back the next day around 12 noon. All my family and I could do was laugh at how the food looked; all the food was trashed at that time On Sunday I called to the restaurant and explained the reason for calling; the female worker assured that the owner would call back. On Monday another call was placed, and i was informed that the owner would call back. On Wednesday another call was made to the establishment, the female employer said the owner would be returning the call; however, at that time the female was informed that the owner has until 3 pm to contact me; it is now 3:59 pm and the owner has yet to contact me. Not to mention the delivery driver looked like a lady of the night. ...
Read moreI was in town for a quick work trip and I came into Atlanta rather late, after most restaurants closed. The hotel that I stayed at had a menu for this restaurant in their lobby and I decided to try it since it was one of the few places that was still open. I ordered pizza, wings, fries, and a drink. Although the food was okay, it was not worth the price. It was mediocre at best. Also, the delivery person neglected to provide me with an itemized receipt, which I had to have for work since I used my company card. I called the restaurant and was advised that they couldn't provide me with one and I had to talk to the manager. The manager wasn't there so I left a message. No call back, so I left another message. After leaving multiple messages, I called and communicated my frustration to the front counter worker and her response was extremely rude. Pretty much, she told me 'oh well, you just going to have to keep calling and leaving messages.' I couldn't believe how rude she was. I also couldn't believe that I was told there was no other option to resolve the issue and there was no other way of contacting the manager. After dealing with this for over a month, I had to explain to my job why I wasn't able to provide the receipt. This place is extremely unprofessional and the food isn't even great. Due to the bad service I will never order from them if I'm in Atlanta and I highly encourage people to stay far away...
