A Flavorful Gem in Malvern: Cross Roads is a Must-Visit for Indian Food Lovers! My husband and I recently embarked on a trip from Cleveland, Ohio, to visit friends in Malvern, PA, and they surprised us with a dinner at Cross Roads Authentic Andhra/Hyderabad Cuisine. Let me just say—this place is an absolute treasure! From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped by a warm, inviting ambiance and the tantalizing aroma of authentic Indian spices. This restaurant is a game-changer for anyone who loves bold, flavorful Indian food, and we left raving about every single bite. The ambiance struck a perfect balance of modern and cozy, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that made it ideal for a relaxed evening out. The staff greeted us like family, with genuine warmth and attentiveness that set the tone for an unforgettable meal. Our server patiently explained the menu, helping us navigate the extensive selection of Andhra and Hyderabadi specialties, which was a treat for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians in our group. We started with the Jalapeno Paneer Starter, a fiery yet perfectly balanced appetizer that had us hooked from the first bite. The paneer was soft, fresh, and infused with just the right kick of spice—truly a scrumptious beginning! For mains, I couldn’t resist the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, which was a masterpiece of fragrant basmati rice, tender chicken, and a symphony of spices that danced on the palate. My husband opted for the Paneer Pachimirchi Pulao, a vegetarian delight with creamy paneer and aromatic herbs that was so flavorful it rivaled any meat dish.we will surely come back again ….

TLDR: Tasty and reasonably priced Indian food with a few hiccups in service and consistency. Dosas are a standout, and overall a solid spot for a comforting meal. Crossroads is a great spot if you're looking for a wholesome, satisfying meal at a reasonable price. I've ordered from them three times so far, twice for takeout and once for dine-in, and overall, it's been a positive experience. My most recent visit was for dine-in, and we tried the dosa, chole bhature, and paneer haryali. While the food was served a bit cold and could’ve used a touch more salt, the flavors were on point. As a South Indian, I’m particular about dosas, and Crossroads really impressed me. The dosa was crisp, flavorful, and met my high standards. The chole bhature and paneer haryali were also delicious and well prepared. The first time we ordered takeout (I can’t remember exactly what we got) everything tasted great. The only downside was that one of the items hadn’t been prepared when we arrived, so we had to wait an extra 15 minutes. Not ideal, but the staff got it sorted quickly. The second takeout experience was more mixed. We ordered the gobi Hakka noodles and paneer 555. The noodles were a bit overcooked for my taste, though the flavor was still good. I personally didn’t enjoy the paneer 555 because the sauce was too sour for me, but my partner actually liked it. So it really comes down to personal preference. All in all, Crossroads is a solid choice for flavorful, well-priced Indian food with a diverse menu. I’ll definitely be going back to try more dishes!

Update(10/29/25)- We visited the restaurant today and left with huge disappointment. My wife found a metal wire in her naan. It could have caused serious harm. We informed a waiter, who took the wire from us and went to the kitchen to check. However, no one came back until we followed up at the counter, and the response was a 50% discount offer without identifying the root cause. The owner did mention this was a first-time incident, but it didn’t feel like taking responsibility. We weren’t looking for a discount and were disappointed with how the situation was handled. We paid the bill and left, but safety and accountability matter most. Unfortunately, it didn’t feel like that today. 05/30/25 - Delightful dining experience! Tried Gobi 555, Stuffed Mirchi, Sugarcane Juice, and Paneer Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan. Food was tasty, though the entree was a bit sweet, could use a bit more spice balance. Overall, a great meal.

We recently visited Cross Roads Indian Restaurant, and it was an absolute delight for food lovers! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. Some standout recommendations for future visitors include the Jalapeno Chicken—a spicy and flavorful treat, the Dosa Ghee Karampodi, which was crispy and packed with authentic South Indian taste, and the Chicken CR Special Pulao, which had the perfect balance of spices and tenderness.

For those who love rich and creamy dishes, the Butter Chicken is a must-try, while dessert lovers will absolutely enjoy the Pista Kulfi and the CR Special Delight, both of which were heavenly. Don’t miss out on their Badam Milk for a refreshing finish or their signature Irani Chai, which was aromatic and comforting.

The restaurant offers a great ambiance, attentive service, and dishes that cater to a wide range of tastes. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience, Cross Roads is definitely...
