Gracie's Diner & more — Restaurant in Eastlake

I've never been so torn on leaving a positive review before.

You see everything was perfect, environment was cozy, clean, in good repair, the food was GREAT, the service was friendly, the regulars were engaging and entertaining...

Which is the problem.

This place is so amazing that I don't want it to change and I don't want people to know about it so I have to wait to get some of the most amazing bacon I've ever had... (Btw someone made a deal with the devil to learn how to make it so amazing, so you have to try it...).

But it really is an enjoyable place and one that I will for sure be back to. Just don't buy all the bacon before I get there.

Oh they also...

If you like your food served with racism and or(probably both) homophobia...this is the place for you!! I have never felt so ostracized in my life. Patrons and staff sneered at us. Rolled their eyes at us. The waitress would kindly great and talk to everyone except for us. My girlfriend asked for ketchup, it was slammed on the table as the waitress ran by. One woman scowled at me the entire time I was eating. Every time I looked up, direct eye contact. For reference my girlfriend is black and I am white. I dont really know which part was so offensive to an ENTIRE restaurant....interracial couple? Lgbtqia couple? Either way, I've never felt so...

It's extremely small in this establishment. I had to sit smashed against the wall and had zero leg room. Very uncomfortable and it was freezing.

The food tasted like nothing and took a bit of time to get. Decent prices though.

I think the cherry on top was the loud mouth waitress (who not once refreshed our drinks or checked up on us) and what I believe was her daughter running around the place the entire time. Had to listen to her very loudly and repeatedly tell her daughter to stop doing things.

Keep your punch card. I will not...
