Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Easton

Back in 2017 I went to this Applebees because I was down for a family trip and my shrimp tasted like straight bleach and my aunt’s chicken was hardly cooked while my mum’s food had been sitting under the heat lamp for 20+ minutes. Five years later (yesterday august 8th) I am now a local and I decided to give this Applebees another chance because I’ve had a good time with the one in seaford, BIGGEST MISTAKE I COULD HAVE MADE. My boyfriend his little sister and I walk in and get seated, we were not given a kid’s menu for his little sister and we weren’t even approached by a waiter or waitress for 20+ minutes, I had enough time to have a full phone call with my mum before the waitress comes and asks us for drinks, drinks were ordered and we waited about 10 minutes for 3 waters and a dr. Pepper which I get it sometimes things can get busy in the kitchen and drink station but the only busy area of that building was the bar table. But that isn’t even the worst part. Once the waitress brought me and my boyfriend our slushies we ordered and had small chat until the food came out and all was well? Incorrect, my boyfriend hardly ate three bites of his food before he started saying something was wrong and his stomach didn’t feel good, I’m used to this so I told him to drink some water and see how that helps him. It didn’t help him at all he had to leave the store and go sit in his car in 80+ degree weather because he thought he was going to throw up, his little sister and I wrapped things up and paid it took 10+ minutes to break a hundred so we could tip and get out of there. You’d be better going to seaford for Applebees we haven’t run into any problems there yet and their staff is a lot quicker, cleaner and friendlier. Never trying this location again.

70$ out of my boyfriends pocket for bad service and to throw up on the side of the road on the way home....

I wish it had a 0 star option. We arrived at Applebee's and were taken to our booth. We had a party of 5. We sat there for at least 15 minutes and we're never approached by a waitress. She finally came over with plates for us and said she would be back. Another 15 minutes went by and she didn't return. I watched her stand at the bar having conversation with other employees. She arrived at the table next to us. After she finished with them she came over to us and said I'm here what do you want. A gentleman from the other table called her back and she snapped "what" at him. At this point we were done and started to leave. Another girl who was filling the sugar packets heard the waitress and what she said. She apologized and offered to get another server for us. I watched her speaking to the manager and he came over to our table. He said what can I do for you? Now he knew what the issue was but acted dumbfounded. We told him the waitress needed to be fired and we were leaving. He said he would get us another server but we were not interested in spending our money there after that experience. This waitress has no customer service etiquette and the manager basically laughed at us like we were making it up, even though another employee witnessed her actions. Sorry Applebee's but you lost our business for good. There are other establishments we can give...

Went there with my family, where to start? Place was dead less then half of the tables filled, server was terrible, extremely slow and never did check backs! Food was extremely salty. However, because I work in the industry we were accommodating and did not complain. We ordered desert, once it was delivered we were immediately presented with the bill, as we were chatting and finishing our desert and drinks the manager an elderly lady came over to our table as to rush us out. Everything from the food, service, etc. was terrible and then it was like leave now? I know we were there just over an hour and from working in the industry we like to see tables in and out in less then an hour, but it took 20 mins to get our apps, 10 mins on drinks, about 45 for entrees and another 15 for dessert! Waitress hardly checked up on the table and lacked on refills, who want's their food and no drink/refill??? Then once the bill came, it's get out? Your staff is horrible, no wonder you were dead! At my restaurant at the same time of day we can easily have a 300 person wait list. I believe it's because we actually care. JS. I will never go there again. Extremely poor training and management.... It shows...
