Mario's Trattoria — Restaurant in Easton

Managing a food service business presents its own set of challenges, requiring consistent efforts to meet customer expectations day in and day out. The goal is to establish the business as a reliable and cherished establishment in the eyes of its patrons. However, in the case of Mario's in Eaton over the past two months, this standard has not been maintained; quite the opposite.

Firstly, there was a mishap with a margarita pizza order, arriving home without the expected cheese--strike one. Following that, with the Allan Panna with no ham, which it was supposed to contain--Strike two. Lastly, the Seafood Fra Diavolo order included mussels, but all except one were unopened--strike three.

To find a resolution, I reached out to the manager that evening to convey my concerns regarding the unopened mussels. To my astonishment, his response was rather unexpected: "Oh, yours was the order that I superglued them." Perplexed, I sought clarification by asking if he was joking. Much to my disbelief, he confirmed that, indeed, he had superglued the mussels. (Certainly not a matter to be joking about.)

Addressing the community, I feel compelled to inform you that a food service establishment accumulating three strikes and responding in such a manner is one I will never patronize again. I share this experience with the group to underscore the importance of considering whether a business displaying such unprofessional behavior is deserving of your patronage.

This quant, local Hidden Gem offers some of the most top notch food I've ever eaten. I recently discovered this amazing restaurant and it quickly became the go-to place to bring the family. Their menu caters to a wide audience and provides a variety of entrees, of which everything on it is worth trying. The chefs are notably skilled at their craft as Mario's Trattoria consistently produces high quality food. This is one restaurant that doesn't sacrifice quantity for quality as I've always always always had enough to overeat until I'm full or to feed the dog, which is great because he loves it too! The inside of the trattoria boasts a plethora of captivating decor that adds to providing an authentic Italian dining experience. The staff are sociable, helpful and courteous which provides a friendly, hospitable environment to patrons. Though its a little more pricey than the pizza shops down the road, its well worth it. You can taste the rich italian family history in every savory, delicious and tasty bite. There homemade meatballs and marinara sauce has yet to be matched by any other restraunt I have ever eaten at. I say this as someone who has spent many days walking the streets of north end in boston going to several different Italian places. They are very friendly and are a hilarious group of great people. What I always liked to is that if any part of the expirence is poor for a customer, the owner is more than willing to go out of his way to make sure he corrects the problem or at least learn what he could do better the following time that customer comes in again.
