Dragon Inn Chinese Restaurant in Eaton, Colorado, is a hidden gem in an unexpected location. 😲 From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by beautiful decor 🏮—think elegant lanterns, intricate wood carvings, and the peaceful sound of little streams and koi ponds 🐟✨. The ambiance is serene and makes for a truly relaxing dining experience.
As for the food, it did not disappoint! 🥢 The steamed dumplings and egg rolls were absolute perfection—crispy, flavorful, and piping hot. 🥟 The lo mein, sesame chicken, and mushu pork were just as good as what you'd find in any big city Chinatown 🏙️, if not better! And if you're feeling adventurous, I highly recommend the Ma Po tofu 🍜—it's a must-try for anyone who loves traditional Chinese flavors. Truly delicious.
The staff here are super friendly and lightning fast ⚡, making you feel right at home. I came with local family who are regulars, and I can totally see why! 😊 I’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Pro tip: Take your time to enjoy the surroundings, and don't miss out on their more traditional dishes—they...
Read moreQuaint little restaurant in Eaton that looks like a dive on the outside. Not very much seating (or parking) but there was an incredible indoor pond area that is a must see. The food was highly authentic and well priced. Staff was incredibly friendly. Most people would probably rate this place 3 or 4 stars in a bigger city, but they would be overlooking how excellent the food really is. Pretty certain this an orient family ran business as they communicated in a foreign language with each other and some of the older workers had limited language. My wife got the egg foo young and it was the first time I ever saw the dish served as a saucy meat/vegetable mixture served on top of pancakes (usually everything is chopped up and mixed into the pancakes and then served with a sauce on the side). For anyone out there looking for true orient prepared dishes this is a must stop along hwy 85 in northern Colorado. As a bonus note, they provided extra fortune cookies for us...
Read moreA wonderful gem of a restaurant. We came from out of town to dine in for our first time— we normally get our food to-go. The inside has nice decor, my toddler really loved it all, and it’s nice and cleanly.
I order sesame chicken and it was so good! Crispy, good flavor, and I was given the biggest plate I’ve ever received. It’s like 4 servings, I was so amazed! My husband ordered a plate that had a bunch of different things, he couldn’t even finish half of it. Our daughter liked the food, especially the crab wontons and rice. Great food, a really good value. I really like their bbq pork fried rice too and the hot and sour soup.
The service was also worth mentioning, the staff is very attentive and helpful. We will definitely be...
