KFC — Restaurant in Eaton

I like the chicken here it's always hot and the sides are pretty good, I like that you can get KFC chicken and A&W sides like French fries. I used to get grilled which was my favorite but since they don't have it anymore I get the extra crispy. Only problem with that is I always pick off the breading/ skin and eat that first and then the chicken, well sometimes the under side of the breading is RAW it's pretty gross, it's hit or miss sometimes there's big chunks of raw breading underneath and sometimes there's not but nothing worse than raw doughy breading. I wish they had popcorn chicken kids meals or $5 fill ups my son likes the popcorn chicken and it's expensive to have to buy a huge order or a tiny go cup which is what I end up getting. Also wish they had fried chicken livers and gizzards. The extra crispy can sometimes be very greasy so be careful sometimes after eating it I literally cough up a ton of grease afterward. All in all though i love the addition of the $5 fill ups and the food is pretty good. Lately I had been eating here a lot and what I found was that during the day when the owner is there the food is always amazing but at night when he's gone is another story, every time I order after say 5pm the food is cold and they mess up my order. I went and got food for me, my mom and my son and she wanted an extra order of Cole slaw... They forgot it so when I got home she was pretty...

I went on the day that Eaton Ohio's KFC was giving free food. Anything on the menu. It was from 5-8pm. I got In line with my truck at 5:30pm. I didn't get to order till like 8:12-8:15pm. Then waited till 11:30pm to get my food. There should have been a limit from the beginning. I watched people walk out of there with 3-7 big buckets of chicken. The lady in front of me had 2 orders. A 30pc chicken on one and a 40pc on the other. Then my turn and the limit got set to 16pc which was what I was goin to order anyways. But people were taking advantage of it and getting all they could get. That lady said she was taking all that chicken to cater a wedding the next day. Wow is all I gotta say. If there was a limit in the first place nobody would have had to wait so long. And if people wasn't so selfish it would've gone quicker to. When I left at 11:30pm there were still bout 15-20 ppl left waiting. Over half of them were big orders to. If there's a next time limits need set on the chicken. That's what took so long was them trying to cook it all. I felt so bad for the employees. I hope KFC made it right with them. They deserve a raise or bonus for what they had to deal with and do all night. Cuz it wpuldve been after midnight before everybody got their food. Then they had to clean and close. This is an KFC / a&w restaurant. Men's bathroom was terrible the lobby did not look like it was swept or mopped. I wanted to order the pot pie which I was told had not been baked yet, so I ordered the bacon cheese and w Burger with french fries. My uncle ordered Coney dogs with no cheese. He got Coney dogs with cheese on it. My bacon cheeseburger, the hamburger was cold hurt and hard, and only had pickle on it instead of the lettuce tomato bacon pickle which is offered for this burger. I went up to ask if they could put it in the microwave. They want to know why I said while I was cold hard, they said what will cook you some new ones. I waited about 10 minutes at the table and then went up to the counter when I heard must have been the shift leader, say to Robin or Alice I forget the name, well the burgers you're cooking or burnt, so they went ahead and serve me up a burger that did have the tomato lettuce onion and pickle and the hamburger was hard and burnt along with about five others that they put in the warming tray. The french fries when I first received them was cold. I'll not be coming back to this a&w / KFC again. First of all they need to have somebody who knows how to cook a hamburger and not burn them, totally...
