Amore Del Lago — Restaurant in Eatonton

We went in September when the restaurant was new so things may have changed.

Drinks- I ordered a strawberry margarita and was served a beer. I told the server that I did not order that drink and he insisted it was a strawberry margarita. I tasted it and then had to call him over to insist it again was a beer. This seems pretty hard to mess up.

Food- the pastas were extremely salty and none of the food was that good.

Outdoor seating- when you make a reservation it does not say that the seating will be outdoors most tables are outdoor. September is so hot in Georgia that being on the patio is miserable. I asked to be moved indoors but they did not have any tables.

We were there for a couples’ getaway a few days before Christmas. The food is good and atmosphere is what you’d expect at a Ritz Carlton.

However, the service we received there was what was really special. He had a young man named Connor as our server. He is wise beyond his age and very knowledgeable of the menu and restaurant. He couldn’t have been more polite or helpful.

It was worth our time to write this review so leadership and future customers can know about this rockstar on the team! Thank you Connor for a great evening and dinner experience!! I hope he gets to stay there (for a little while anyway) because he’s very much future...
