**edit ; I removed a star because apparently their bread has dairy in it. I was never informed of that, and I've been eating here for the last 5 years... with a dairy allergy. I always tell people I have a dairy allergy, I even double check labels in the comfort of my own home. When they opened their new store I had already been in twice before being informed by management that the bread itself contains dairy. Major face palm. Please management. Educate your employees about food allergies. It must not have a high volume of dairy in the bread because typically I experience anaphylaxis symptoms when consuming it. Thankfully it hasn't been that bad but it has been enough to swell my throat and make me itchy with a headache all day. Also please owner's.... get some bread WITHOUT dairy and I'll happily become a regular customer again. I love the grinders!

Great place to get delicious Pizzas and yummy yummy Toasted sandwiches. They have a huge selection of toppings and sizes that include gluten free options for those with allergy. The staff is always upbeat and friendly. Clean and a great place to dine in with the family or take home some tasty food all at a reasonable price!! I highly recommend this place and RARELY rate at 5 stars but this place...

Full disclosure : I worked at the location near the mall for five years.

I haven't worked there for nearly a decade. I haven't lived in Eau Claire for nearly six years.

However, every time I come through Eau Claire, I stop and have lunch or dinner. If I don't have time, I bring food back to Minneapolis unbaked and make it at home.

In a very literal sense I have "seen how the sausage is made," ate there five to seven days a week for five years while working there, and I keep coming back now - ten years later. John and Sam have run a pizza and sandwich shop for 22 years - a feat that is nearly impossible today.

They've done this by treating their employees and their customers well and providing a fantastic product. There is no better sandwich in Eau Claire and their pizza, while conventional and safe, is excellent and consistent. Get it a time and a half through the oven and thank me later.

I still crave Maui Tunas and Chicago Steaks and Flavor...

Hey just letting you guys know you have the best sandwiches in the world! But my last 2 visits you've gotten parts of sandwiches mixed up, and they can't be the best if they're wrong.....

Our take-out order from 2 months ago had 2 sandwiches labeled as eachother's instead of theirselves, no way to fix that when we found out each getting home 1.5 hours away from each other..... And this weekend we watched our take-out get made and it seemed like the person pulling them out of the oven was mixing them up, sure enough half of our 2 sanwiches had half of the toppings the other was supposed to have - big problem for those allergic to mayo or lettuce when you put those on half of their sandwich and leave the other sandwich order without those.....

Still love your food and will continue to visit because it's too dang good but your cooking staff NEEDS to pay better attention...
