Worst Brueggers I have ever stepped into. Absolutely filthy floors and filthy everything... Was in line to order, just wanted 3 Herby Turkeys. Was told to wait a moment as they finished an order. I said sure. Then was asked what I wanted...2 Herby Turkeys with 1 type of bagel and 1 with another (oh and they had only about 3-4 different types to choose from at the time, most were sweet so those were out, so only sesame or olive oil). They after asking us what we wanted, guy goes back to making another order. 3 minutes later he asks me again what I want...so I tell him again. 4 minutes later he asks again, and I indicated I have told you twice now but I will say it again, which he tells me he has no turkey. At this time I see a girl come out the back and depositing more bagels. After he comes back from the back of trying to find turkey, I ask him what bagels she is making, she again tells me what is behind him is all they have. I get my order and sit down, 2 of them have no onion in them. Go back up and he tells be Herby Turkey do not have onions, which I tell him he may want to read again what is in it. So he gives me onions now. In that time I see that the bagels that I asked for are now being filled in behind him which I wanted an Asiago but informed me they dont have it. Whatever, I sit down to eat and am surrounded by absolute filth on the floor, ceiling, tables, everywhere. I included all this info with the hopes that corporate or the owner will have a more detailed version of my visit which I will never come back to. As I left I was telling people they should definitely go to a different location or buyer beware....wow, is this what things have come to...
I included some photos of my surroundings, the photos did not do the place justice of the area, you have to go in and see it
Update...I have posted my review online at corporate...but as I look at all the recent reviews that are very similar to mine..I see the same response from the owner with 0 change. If Management really cared they would take the feedback and fix things but that is not the case at this location...very sad...reviews are designed to be report cards for improvement but that does not seem to be the case here
Second Update: Absolutely no corporate response. I also sent corporate a note on their Twitter site, no response there either. My take at this point is that they do not care so do with it...
Read moreHonestly it's a shame with Brueggers. I've been going to this location for years. And every visit you don't know what to expect. I'm sure partly due to maintaining staff, but no surprise there every company suffers from that right now. However the staff is always doing their best based on what I have seen - kudos to them. But I think it's the lack of efficiency and effective management that really irks me. Not everybody is going to go there to get a pre-made bagel or sandwich. Sometimes I go in there and just get the bakers dozen and don't even get them cut I just want the bagels. For those situations it's bewildering why anybody would willingly want to stand in line and watch them make six sandwiches in a row because someone placed one of those complex orders which is fine if they had a way to manage other customer that are just buying some bagels that take less than 60 seconds to fullfill. Online ordering might be an option but a lot of the times when we want bagels it's impulsive. Anyway I'm torn because I would hate to see them go out of business they are the only good option around here but I refuse to stand in line 15 to 20 minutes to place an order that takes 60 seconds to complete. Really needs to be a better process for all of this. Placing bagels in a rack where customers can grab what they want with tongs would be better than that wait. Having a big sign at checkout that says if you just need bagels (no cuts) ready to go please come to the register would be better than a wait. Making a deal with Jerry's next door to sell their bagels would be better than a wait. Lol anything is better than a unproductive and unnecessary wait. ...

When I arrived and was placing my order, a young man was on the floor, and when I was checking out he returned. Another person (I'm assuming a shift lead of some type) told him, "we're going to have to change your time". He looked perplexed. Another woman (who I found out later was the manager) then chimes in, "yeah, we're going to have to change your clock in time, you have to make sure you use the bathroom before you clock in. You can't clock in and then go to the bathroom". At this point, I was appalled. I'm not going into the rest of the details and conversation that followed here b/c it will be too long of a post. Suffice it to say, I'll be reporting this store and it's management to corporate. And I won't be returning to Bruegger's period. This is shameful and the service was poor because they were too concerned about this man using the bathroom than dealing with the customer in front of them. From the reviews, this is normal behavior for management at...
