A little bummed out by this place. We first tried to call and place a pickup order and after 4 attempts at calling (spaced out) we gave up on getting anyone to answer. We decided to just walk in to place an order instead. It was super frustrating walking in and seeing the place practically empty, not really justifying why no one bothered to answer the phone. Maybe there’s something wrong with the line, I don’t know.. The man who ended up helping us inside was very nice and very attentive. The food was quick to come out and we went on our way.
The buffalo pizza ($22) on GF crust had great flavor but the crust was really floppy/soggy and just overall kind of a bummer.
The basic burger ($18.50) was one patty, cheese, bacon and a GF bun, with fries. The burger was sloppily assembled, meat barely even on the bun in the box and the bacon was just thrown on top. The GF bun was actually pretty good. It was very light and fluffy. A little dry, but that’s generally always expected with GF buns. The patty was a bit overcooked and really dry and the bacon had clearly been sitting out for hours. The bacon was somehow gummy and hard at the same time and just tasted old. (It was $3 to add) The fries had also tasted like they’d been made hours ago and had been sitting out.
The vibe of the place inside just overall had glorified Denny’s vibes. It was clean and perfectly “fine” just kind of a drag.
Was it the worst meal I’ve ever had? No, it did the job. Was it worth over $40? DEFINITELY not. Will I ever return? Highly unlikely.

I have lived and worked in the area for 30 years and Woody's had a well deserved rep as subpar service and uneven food quality. I was excited for a new regime. Unfortunately I had a poor experience. I stopped in to order and pick up take out. I sat at the bar and ordered a flatbread, wings and a salad. After a half hour a dark haired woman approached me to explain that they had a problem with my flatbread and had to refire it. Things happen. The problem there was she was so uncomfortable she had a nervous laugh and didn't speak clearly so it was confusing at first. I don't think she thought it was funny but laughing while apologizing is off putting. I told her fine, I had time. When my food came 15 minutes later it was missing the salad. The bartender said he didn't hear me order it. Fine, things happen. He said he could rush it out. I looked at the receipt and threw my card on the bar. Frankly in a new place with 2 mistakes I was surprised when he grabbed my card and charged me. I told him as much, tipped him 20 percent and left. To cap it off when I got home my flatbread hand only cheese on 20% of it. Kind of lazy on a redo of a mistake. All in all, the manager seem to look like the manager that had been at Woody's, but I hadn't been there in a few years so I'm not sure. But I wouldn't be a surprise to find a management staff and the weight staff to be a holdover from Woody's. Hopefully they get it turned around but I don't think I'll be stopping...
Read moreThis was my first time visiting this place since Woody's sold their establishment. We were seated and we got our drink orders put in right away. It took ~10-15 minutes to get our drinks (beers and a lemonade), which the poor bartender had to bring to us for some reason instead of our waitress?
Anyway, we loved the Salty Things appetizer and appreciated there was a happy hour that was on a Saturday. We ordered our food, and apparently the person taking our order was not very familiar with the menu because she asked if we wanted chips or fries with the meatloaf sammie, which is served with mashed potatoes implicitly stated on the menu.
Also, apparently the chefs don't like to make substitutions which is not mentioned anywhere on the website or the menu. Not sure why it's hard to not include lettuce or onion on a burger of all things and I wouldn't consider this a "substitution". Not to mention, it says at the bottom of the menu to mention any food allergies which is a far more intensive substitution. The waitress said she would try her best but no promises: so the burger came back with no lettuce but still had onion on it. Oh well.
We also had to ask for refills, sadly. At that point, there were maybe 8 or so other tables being served and plenty of staff. I enjoyed the Mushroom etc. Burger that had three varieties of mushrooms, the food actually was quite excellent. The meatloaf was a tad over seasoned (very peppery and on the salty side). Just not thrilled with the service on a...
