Starbucks — Restaurant in Edina

You guys you girls you Starbucks People you know who we are right? This is the best Starbucks I found in Edina. They get the coffee right each time. Granted I always ask for a decaf pour over when it's not on tap so its usually more bold and rich and it's extra work for the baristas, but I have found that where ever I go here in Edina its either too strong and bitter or too weak. THESE guys get it RIGHT. Omg its my secret little Starbucks. Its tucked away next to a dry cleaners and just around the corner from Jerry's who houses another Starbucks which is always crazy busy. A lovely young woman named Samantha with a voice smoother than a venti caramel macchiato was the voice that greeted me at the drive thru ordering intercom. It was so delightful to hear an inviting, smooth voiced, real person asking how she could help me. It was seriously the high point of this beautiful Autumn Sunday. In fact I'm still in the parking lot writing this review to be sure not to forget a shout out to this crew. After texting my son if he wanted anything from Starbucks I parked and went in the store to get his order and was greeted by several other awesome baristas. Best stop of the day. I went through the drive through and ordered two coffees and two croissants. I checked the coffee because they felt incredibly light for a Venti. I went inside to show them (after waiting almost 10 minutes without being acknowledged )i went to talk to the girl who was actually helpful and shocked they were half full! The "shift lead" Dylan never came over to help with the situation and Samantha (the girl making the coffees) must have rolled her eyes 10 times and NEVER looked at any of the customers. The whole situation took 25 minutes of my day and I have to say yhere is a brand new caribou across the street. The place has gone down hill...
